Caution: the food and the service was fine.
The Caution is that coming out of the restaurant there is a "Step Down" that my wife didn't see and came crashing down to the concrete.
One of the waitresses made the comment "this happens more often than you know."
If that is true, the owners of this restaurant needs to paint a yellow Caution strip at the top of the step to catch you eyes.
My wife is pretty brushed up.
If they do not correct this problem, someone will sue them.
Just saying
Please correct this problem.
Note. My wife did fracture her left hand scaphoid bone.
We did stop back by the restaurant and talked to the manager and filled out in incident form.
Later he called us back to let us know that he was online ordering yellow stripes to place on the step.
Hoping he does so.
Ongoing: Since coming home she has had to have 3 x-rays, and now they want a CT Scan. This is the worst bone to break in your had. The slowest to heal and the most important because it is where the blood flows to the other bones. If it dies, the other bones in her wrist will die with it.
She is now in a cast, and not very happy.
Since we do not live near there. We just hope that they followed through and put a caution strip there. The restaurant next to them have several caution stripes throughout their restaurant because of the various levels changes.
I have to say that the cost is adding up. We are so sad because this didn't have to happen and it did ruin or trip. All activities had to be canceled.
Please watch your step.
That said, the food and the...
Read moreLast night, we celebrated my dad's birthday at Ti Amo Italian Ristorante. The ambiance was lovely, with tasteful decorations that set a cozy, upscale tone for the evening. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t quite live up to the initial impression.
We started with two appetizers: bruschetta and mozzarella sticks. The bruschetta was underwhelming; the bread wasn’t even toasted, leaving it soft and lacking the texture you’d expect. The flavor fell flat as well. The mozzarella sticks were fine but nothing special—essentially what you’d find anywhere else.
The service, while friendly, was incredibly slow. Our server was polite and attentive, but the pace of the meal was frustrating. From appetizers to dessert to finally getting the check, the whole experience stretched to two hours, most of which was spent waiting.
For my main course, I ordered the spaghetti bolognese. The meatballs were the highlight of the dish—flavorful and well-cooked. The rest of the plate, however, was just average.
Overall, Ti Amo Italian Ristorante has potential with its pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff, but the food and pacing of service left much to be desired. While I wouldn’t rule out returning, it’s not a place I’ll be rushing back to...
Read moreThe wife and I are always on the hunt for something new and exciting. We rarely like to go to the same place twice, which can be hard around here.
So we were very excited to come across this restaurant, and man it didn't disappoint! We started with the Sea Salt and Parmesan Flatbread, which was delicious 😋. Loved that it came with the marinara, chili oil and vinegar sauces to try it with.
And then we split the 10oz Coulotte Streak and Shrimp. I often decide on the dish based on how it's described, and we love a heat element in our food :). So once I saw that it had some Calabrain Chile, we had to try it.
I can't say enough about that dish! It was so good! Absolutely loved the flavor of the sauce and had to ask for more of it to finish off the steak. I've never had Calabrian Chiles before but they are a perfect balance of heat and taste. We liked them so much we bought some for our cooking at home :).
We will definitely be back to try some of the other items on their menu! I highly recommend that steak dish, so good!
Be different, try...
