Walkin Takos — Restaurant in Boise

David and Chase are onto something!! When we arrived to their location found on their Facebook and Instagram, we were able to spot their truck almost immediately. There was plenty of street parking and ordering was very straightforward. I ordered mine with the flamin hot Cheetos for the base, pork Chile verde for the protein, and for toppings I got pico, roasted corn, cilantro, 3 cheese blend, jalapeños, and mild red salsa. My partner ordered theirs with the sidewinders fries and red beef Chile. When we arrived home, our Walkin Takos were hot, fresh and crunchy! Our food was more than incredible, it was surprising and delicious. The service emulated Boise Kindness and the cuisine was unique and creative. I will be returning for more....

Hitting up another awesome food truck at Green Acres. I decided to follow the old advice of eating hot food on a hot day, 93° in Boise today! So I tried out Walkin Takos. Having never been, staff walked me through the options and the toppings. So many toppings! I went a little crazy, which I hope will explain why you can't even see my baked potato. I chose the pork chili verde, which has some nice big chunks of pork. Really nice, authentic flavors. No leftovers in sight. The spice level shouldn't scare anyone away either. I also got the cheesecake chimichangas. I might have to find a way to copy these at home. They are so yummy with the crunchy outside and the creamy and sweet filling. Highly...

This food truck is great! The staff was super friendly and helpful! We ordered a few things. The fried pb&j rolled in cinnamon and sugar was killer!! A must!! So good. We also ordered the loaded nachos. Can I tell you how many topping options they have? A TON! It came out hefty and it was so good! Each chip was a different bite. The roasted corn with cojita cheese was yummy too. They didn't skimp on the cheese. I can't wait to see them again. I'm trying the double fried...
