I will start out with this, best restaurant in the area. If you have customers you want to impress, and you work in Clinton, then this is the place to go. It gets 4.3 stars in my book. Service was nice with a friendly wait staff. This is the only place I’ve been to that requires a reservation since the staff based on reservations.
My coworkers and I had the Premier Prix Fixe menu. I had the lobster cake, bison osso bucco, and chocolate mousse tartlets. Lobster cake was moist and well seasoned, a nice starter. The osso bucco is where disappointment set in. A coworker and I both had this and noted the same thing...was a bit over cooked...you had to use a knife to cut it and it was a bit dry...it should just fall off the bone. Read moreWent to J's with my boyfriend a few months ago and I must say, this is a quaint little restaurant with a comfy feel to it. Very small spot, but not too many people are rushing to eat at the winery...most people prefer to tour around and do some tastings. Either way, it's nothing too fancy, very small menu. I had to turkey blt paired with the recommended paired wine (which was absolutely delicious) and my boyfriend had the salmon with the house pale ale (which he claimed to be average). The service is average as well, nothing to complain about, but nothing to rave about either. Like I said, you're there for the winery, not the restaurant. I wouldn't make it a top priority when visiting Nashoba Vallery, but if you're hungry, it gets...
Read moreBeen here, ar least, 20 times for brunch. There is no better value for brunch in Mass and we're active brunchers at the fanciest places in Boston to points west. Rustic, New England ambience of the tastefully attired restaurant; the outstanding service; the inventive and creative cuisine; fresh fruit, veggies, and salads; assorted cheese selection; the environmental beauty of the winery; the menu of homegrown wines, beers, and spirits. After you're done, wander the festive grounds of winery/store. With all-you-can-eat buffet, it's, for those concerned, quantity mixed with the highest quality. An experience, not just a brunch. P.S. There's kids pricing too. P.S.S. Tomato juice included but, unlike airplanes, not...
