DIYogurt combines the thrill of building something with the fun of frozen treats. Exactly what I expected from the name alone. As I entered and peered across the vastness of possibilities, I felt a power like no other, mighty, and unstoppable. I started with the limited yet tasteful options of "bottoms." Honey granola called to me. "Yes, you will be the one" I said as I rotated the knob and released a torrential rain of grainy goodness upon my bowl. Nearby, the viscous dairy trembled with anticipation. Would today be their day? Which would I choose? I entered their existence and pondered greatly, I could feel the weight of the moment. I took this time to reminisce the many great flavors of days gone by. Chocolate, strawberry soliloquies spun off of my tongue like tiny dancers as I bartered with myself. My decision became clear. This day would be sung in millenias legends as the day Kyle chose vanilla. As I freed the yogurt from its steel confinement and filled my bowl with its sweet, beany taste, I imagined the bits of granola as a small seaside village and the yogurt was an incoming horrendous flood. It made me sad for the little oat people. Who was I to play God? I watched as old man Gabriel scrambled for high ground, little Lucien and his tiny violin sat atop a terracotta roof and performed a dirge as everything he knew was suffocated under the sweet sweet calories that I was about to consume.
