Worst Dunkin Donuts I have ever been to in over 30 years of patronage. Must be the most poorly managed location in the entire franchise. Woefully understaffed, the employees try the best, but they get swamped and can never catch up to orders. I have paid for NUMEROUS online orders, only to arrive and WAIT more than 15 minutes for the order (along with 10+ other customers also waiting), only to have to leave because I could not wait any longer. I’ve easily lost $30+ dollars at this place. Today, I placed an online order only to drive up and see a sign on the door “we are closed.” ON A SATURDAY MORNING. I will never see that $7 from that online order. Honestly, SAVE YOURSELF THE TIME, MONEY and FRUSTRATION, and drive to the DD in Wiscasset. Read moreThis was hopefully a one-off but a young trainee was left by himself to run the store when we came in last night. The register was down so I had to use the pad at the counter to place my order of two lattes. When I came to get my order, the trainee said another employee had left and he hadn't been trained yet on how to make lattes. The purchase couldn't get taken off my account as it'd already gone through on my card so the trainee offered alternate drinks instead. I told him we had to be on our way and we couldn't wait any longer. So he gave me money out of his wallet for the lattes we couldn't get. It was very kind of him to do that. I just hope he gets reimbursed. I felt bad for the trainee and don't blame him of course. Unless it was an emergency, I fault the other employee for leaving the poor guy hanging. Every time I go to this location it's a 85% chance it's going to be a negative experience. From the ice coffee being rancid, inconsistency in products, to employees wanting to fight over asking for extra flavoring (since they don't actually add the correct flavor or the proper amount to begin with).
Today I was told I couldn't get a refund on the rancid coffee they were serving, because "none of them actually work/were from that store"... Their employee turnover is HIGH, so I do feel for these workers. Owners? Not so much.
