Wendy's — Restaurant in Boston

ONLY USE THE DRIVE THRU, DO NOT GO INSIDE

This was easily one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve ever had, completely unorganized and chaotic.

I walked in with a friend around 8 PM. There was no clear line to order. Customers were just standing around the cashier counter, but no workers were actually taking orders there. Seemed odd but there were self order tablets, so we just used one of those to order. The first screen froze, so we had to switch to the second one, where we finally placed and paid for the order.

After paying, the tablet told us to go to the counter to pick up our cups and wait for our name to be called. We walk over to the counter though and notice how nobody was standing behind the counter, nobody was popping over to calling names or order numbers, it was just a crowd of confused customers standing on the other side and waiting.

Occasionally, a worker would come by and hand bags to DoorDash drivers but ignored everyone else. When someone asked one of the employees what was going on, she said she didn’t speak English which was super convenient.

Eventually someone yelled to the back asking for their order and the cook said, “What did you get?” Then they just made the food on the spot. That’s when I realized that the orders placed through the tablet weren’t even being seen or processed by the kitchen and the only way you would get your food was to yell your order to the cook. It feels icky to do that as is, and you also had a huge crowd around the counter that you had to compete with as well.

We waited nearly 30 minutes before even realizing that the only way to get your food was to chase it down yourself and at that point, we just left even after paying.

This location is also in a sketchy area, which makes the whole experience worse.

Bottom line: Do not go inside. Only use the drive thru if you’re desperate. Otherwise,...

Seriously one of the worst Wendy's experience a loyal customer can have. Until senior leadership goes through further training, please avoid the Wendy's on American Legion Highway! I order my food using the the Wendy's app for a in store pickup. When I arrive inside the store. Thr manager rudely asked me how did I enter the establishment when I told him through the front door. He said the indoor dinning is closed and only drive-thru is open. Before I try to explain to him that I order online and selected indoor pickup. I was yelled at, I was rudely told that my food will not be given to and pretty much pushed out the store to go through the drive-thru to get my food. On my way out the door, I overheard both the manager and employee using the n-word to describe me as a customer remind you this was at 9:34pm and in door pick-up end at 10:00pm. By the time I waited another 30+ minutes in an extremely drive-thru my food was cold and the French fries soggy. I trash the entire meal. I understand this is a Wendy's in a urban neighborhood, but the least I was expecting was Wendy's friendly customer service and quality food. This was absolutely...

This Wendy’s is trash!! I’m here at the drive thru waited ten minutes line never moved. So I figured ok I’ll go inside since I notice there’s no line, as soon as I got there lady tells me ” The cashier is in the bathroom, there’s no one to take your order unless you want to wait until she’s finish and we don’t know how long she’ll be in there for. So I waited she never came out and guess who’s back at the drive thru. I finally ordered after waiting for so long, there was no lemonade of course.

UPDATE: by the time I got my food I guess the manager or whoever the guy was must had time to quickly read my review .. He tried to check me at the drive thru.. and he said “ I remember you were just in here and you were not waiting ten minutes and whispered that’s all you all are good for..” I’m assuming he said that pertaining to my review.Then he tried to apologize for the service after smh..
