Our recent visit to Bourbon Cafe and Coffee Saloon was nothing short of an enchanting journey. This charming establishment nestled about an hour's drive from Wildwood, MO offers a delightful blend of nostalgia and modern-day delights that left us thoroughly impressed.

Eclectic Atmosphere: From the moment we stepped through the door, we were captivated by the eclectic atmosphere that enveloped the space. Bourbon Café and Coffee Saloon seamlessly marries vintage charm with a contemporary twist. The combination of old and new is a visual delight, creating an atmosphere that's both cozy and exciting.

Warm Nostalgia and Modern Delights: The real magic lies in its ability to transport you to a world where nostalgia and modernity coexist harmoniously. The warm and inviting decor, complete with a vintage armoire filled with tabletop games, offers a sense of nostalgia that's hard to find elsewhere. It's the kind of place where you can indulge in a delightful latte while reminiscing about the past.

Delectable Breakfast and Pastries: But it's not just the atmosphere that shines; the food at Bourbon Café and Coffee Saloon is equally impressive. The breakfast options are simply outstanding. From perfectly crafted breakfast panini’s to mouthwatering pastries, every dish is a culinary masterpiece. Each bite is an explosion of flavors that will leave your taste buds begging for more.

The Heartwarming Touch of Michelle: One of the highlights of our visit was meeting the owner, Michelle. Her warm and friendly demeanor, coupled with outstanding customer service, made our experience all the more memorable. Michelle shared the story of her journey in rehabbing the building, seamlessly blending the old with the new. Her passion for what she's created shines through, and her genuine sweetness left a lasting impression on us.

Bourbon Cafe and Coffee Saloon is more than just a cafe; it's a destination where you can escape the ordinary and embark on a delightful adventure. Whether you're a local or making the drive from Wildwood, the unique combination of vintage charm, modern lattes, delectable breakfast, and the warm embrace of Michelle's hospitality makes this cafe an absolute must-visit. It's a haven where you can relish the past, enjoy the present, and anticipate more memories in the making. Don't miss out - this hidden gem is waiting to...

We like to stop at local coffee shops whenever we travel. We found this one on Google driving from Indiana to Branson. As soon as we walked in, the environment was very inviting. There were several people sitting and enjoying their stay and several people in line.

The line was long but we enjoyed the atmosphere while waiting. When it was our turn, we understood why the line didn’t move fast. Amber, the GM, is very friendly. She asked our names and where we’re from. She wasn’t trying to collect our money and move on. She was creating an experience.

We placed our order and went to sit and wait. While we did, a couple musicians stepped onto the small stage and played some great music. It wasn’t too loud and it was obvious everyone in the cafe enjoyed it as much as we did. As we waited, we watched the staff interact with customers as they delivered their orders. Nothing was rushed. Everyone was kind.

I ordered a cold latte with their homemade bourbon syrup and my husband ordered the same but hot. We also got a slice of quiche and gooey butter cake with homemade whipped cream. Everything was fantastic.

When we were about to leave, the owner, Michelle, stopped what she was doing to have a conversation with us. She was genuine and kind. This is a rare service. The food and coffee could have been just ok and we would return because we were treated with genuine kindness by everyone. Bourbon Cafe is in the business of building relationships and not processing orders. If you want a personalized experience where you feel like you matter more than your money, this is the place to go. Try to stay at least an hour. You won’t regret it. We could’ve easily stayed half the day. We will be back! Thanks Amber and Michelle and the rest of your team for a...

I'm not one to leave anyone a 5 star review. However, this little gem is well deserved of 5 stars. The experience begins the moment you walk in the door. If Paul is playing his guitar, the experience begins the moment you open the door. Walking in gives you the feeling that you are in a mountain town. You just might look outside to be sure you are still in Bourbon. The staff and owner are genuinely delightful. There is a large table in the middel that fits 12 people. This the community table. If there are a couple elderly folks at this table, they are probably waiting for you so they can share some stories. I've only ever had two different drinks. A hot tea that I believe was from the owners personal garden. If you talk with her she might tell you about what seasonings and spices are homegrown and or made. The other drink is my favorite, the Bourbon Brew. Can't remember exactly how this is made but don't really care, its delicious. I believe it is the most popular drink. As for food, the Bacon Breakfast Panini is amazing. Even heard that a visitor from Italy said it was the best sandwich she ever had. Its the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had and ties for 1st of all sandwiches. Go grab some food then head out to one of the local streams or state parks for some hiking...

What an absolute delightful place we stumbled upon today. Husband and I were camping at Blue Springs Ranch and had to run into DG. Decided to try this because the outside was decorated so cute. We remembered seeing this place getting rehabbed a couple of years ago when camping. When we walked in the door, we were floored with how cute she has it decorated. Down to every little detail and every nook and cranny has a little story to tell. Truly enjoyed seeing all the Dolly memorabilia including cute little children's books all with a Dolly theme. We chit-chatted with Michelle, the owner, who took our order and was just a lil doll. We had the cranberry white chocolate gooey butter cake as a dessert and we both enjoyed the farmer's salad. I am on the fence about ranch but she reassured me that it was going to be better than a normal ranch. She sure was right!!! She told us all the details about how their menu is constantly rotating, how they make everything from scratch, and how they try to take a natural approach. Hubby & I both kept oooh'ing and ahh'ing through our entire meal! Thank you Michelle for a great experience. We may see you again this weekend 🩷🩷🩷

My sister and I were headed to western Missouri, and thankfully she remembered hearing about this little gem tucked away south of interstate 44 in Bourbon. From start to finish, our experience was wonderful. Michelle, one of the owners, took the time to welcome us and guide our culinary choices. We thoroughly enjoyed the fresh quinoa salad, to which we added some perfectly seasoned shredded chicken for added protein. (They were more than happy to accommodate dietary preference/restrictions) She then recommended their latte with bourbon-infused heavy cream. Absolutely delicious, and not too sweet. Our initial plan to avoid dessert was foiled when we laid eyes on their glass case of baked goods. The orange cake? YUUUUUM!! Let's talk about that icing, shall we? It was not too sweet and had a delicate orange essence. Delicious food aside, we loved the ambience. There are fresh flowers on each table, a mellow sweet pup that'll steal your place on one of the sofas, the homage to Dolly in the corner at the back, the delightful patio out back with a canoe planter. Need we say more? We loved our visit and can't wait to return!
