Don't argue with us when we point out hair in our food AS you place the plate on the table. The food was fine, but debating the customer when they're dissatisfied with the food is terrible form, Kim.

Yes we were fairly comped for the food, but I'm also not particularly impressed by how we arrived at that point. Look, it happens from time to time, but the fact that both my Mom and Dad had hair in their food makes me think that your cook isn't taking sanitation particularly seriously, and instead of getting defensive like you're being indicted in a court of law, PUT A HAIRNET / BEARD NET ON YOUR COOK. Also, whoever was clearing and prepping the tables for guests wasn't paying any attention to how many place settings there were, whether our coffee was topped off, head wasn't in the game.

Nicole was lovely however, she did her absolute best to be a good salesperson and smoothed things over as best as she could, she was a pleasure.

Warm and inviting ambiance - sweet signage tucked away throughout brings a smile every time we walk in. We’ve become regulars and are so grateful to have the Bourne Breakfast Club in the neighbourhood. It feels like it’s been here forever - even if it’s just opened a few months ago! - everyone is so warm and welcoming. Coffee is the best in town, and we have yet to find something on the menu we don’t love. The omelettes (garden!), pancakes, and grilled English muffins are extra special. The ingredients are fresh and everything tastes made to order. For example, they’ll make the bacon how you like it…extra crispy? perfection. Feels like you’re at home, with much less chaos and much more flavor (and in our case infinitely more skill!). We have seen all ages, all group sizes, always have a great time. This restaurant is TRULY one of a kind. GREAT food, INCREDIBLY CLEAN, food is all homemade n just FABULOUS. You will never leave, still feeling hungry. The prices are unbeatable. The portions are more than you're paying for. All of the staff are team players and really work together, even when CRAZY BUSY all of the customers are well taken care of. The staff go ABOVE n BEYOND to provide superb customer service. Dawn, the owner ALWAYS makes it a point to walk around and greet people, make sure they are happy with everything, and ALWAYS thanks you for coming in.
