Emilio’s m son 2.0 — Restaurant in Bowbells

Ordered a reuban... A teaspoon of sourcrout at best... Took 50 minutes for that to come. Also added a handfull of potato chips... I asked if the sandwich came alone or with fries...she said it came with fries... I said I just want a sandwich. I don't like eating double the carbs (toast & potatoes) would have preferred celery or cucumcer, sliced tomatoes or side salad. Food came and there is junk food potatoe chips on my plate! I paid 9.95 for a handfull of potatoes chips and a sandwich.....so are those home made chips or did you stick your hand in a bag of chips and dumped them on my plate? 50 minutes....... Not a single veggie in my sandwich. Tried to ask what was in the sandwich ahead of time.... Took 10 minutes for her to come back... Decided I'd take a chance.... Bad move. My other family ordered a BLT IT WAS 7.50 AND DOUBLE THE SIZE OF MY SANDWICH. She said it was really good. Real bacon. Super yummy... Also came with snack food potato chips... They have no business being on a menu! When I eat out and its a restuarant where im being served.....s want home made food! Not store bought snack food... Takes no effort to put potatoe chips on a dish! I felt humiliated that was brought out to me. Should be embarrassed! Since when is potato chips a dinner menu. I would NEVER PUT THAT ON MY TABLE FOR SUPPER! MY HUSBAND WOULD ASK ME IF I WAS ANGRY AT HIM OR...

My wife and I searched for this Resturant last night on Google maps because the motel operator said they had the best food in town. It did not come up and we were sitting in their parking lot. Long story but I will make it short one side of the business has "South of the Border" a former name all the locals no a love because it is close to the CN border. The other side has the new owners name "Dave's Place Family Resturant"! We finally gave up pulled in and saw the other sign.

It was Saturday night "Prime Rib Special Night" $24.95 for 16 oz cooked to order of the finest beef ever served. You could cut this with a butter knife and the flavor was heavenly. I am 70 and it may have been the best Prime Rib I have ever had. It came choice of chili or salad, potatoes. I had the chili and it was favorable and well made. My wife had the green salad. We had garlic mashed. My wife had a Bloody Mary that was strong and flavorful and served in a glass at 18 oz. Based on this one visit and meal I gave Dave's Place 5*. The waitress service was outstanding. She was attentive friendly and helpful and made sure that we were well taken care of. She...

So I started calling around 8:50 pm on 30 Dec. 19. I finally go through and the gentleman on the phone was more interested in a game apparently because he was talking to someone in the background. Asking how many seconds left and did we score? He went as far as to mention they will just have to call back, referring to me after he told me to hold on. I eventually hung up and tried calling from a different number to which it indicated being busy.

Next I sent my friends there to order a pizza in person. My friend called me and said he could hear people in the kitchen and went as far to call the phone and say hello out loud but received no answer. Eventually, a lady came out and said they were closed and only the bar was open.

I’ve had Daves only one other time and the food was pretty good. The service and how today was handled just indicates their employees need replaced and held...
