Minuteman Grille — Restaurant in Boxborough

Beer prices are really good. Got a bottle IPA for under $6? Wow.. First place I've been to in a long time that didn't overcharge beer. (Avg price in most places in MA $8 to $9) Their pub food was decent. The only thing that really bothered me was that the server didn't realize she talked way too much and was interrupting me while I just wanted to be left alone. I felt bad as she told me her personal issues..so I just let her chat my head off. Nice girl and no offense she just wanted to be friendly and seemed over worried about doing a good job. I just don't enjoy talking or listening to anyone while I'm eating or hearing other people's problems while I want to forget a difficult day and relax. The atmosphere.. there is not much. It's a hotel restaurant/pub and the place was close to empty. I will try this place again when I travel through. I'd like to try more...

Today we dined at the Minuteman Grill. One of the 3 meals we received was not as defined on the menu (we got breaded and fried instead of grilled) and the other had overcooked chicken. One meal was fine. When brought to the attention of the manager, she went out of her way to accommodate us and make our dining experience right.

Since the restaurant was about to close for the hiatus between lunch and dinner, the manager promised to remake the problem items for us to retrieve as soon as the restaurant reopened in one hour. The restaurant did exactly that and the whole meal, and a delicious piece of chocolate cake, was complimentary!!

The remade items were perfectly done, and absolutely delicious. I highly recommend the Minutemen Grill and a big thank you to the wonderful manager whose name I unfortunately...

My family and I have been here before for breakfast. When it was the Holiday Inn and since the name change. The buffet was decent, but you could see it going down hill when the waffle / omelet maker was done away with. We went for breakfast on Christmas Eve morning. When we walked in there were 7 other customers in the restaurant. We waited 5 minutes to be seated. When there was no sign of any employee, went looking for one. I finally found one when I walked into the entrance of the kitchen after saying hello several times. At that point the hostess yells at me for being in the kitchen. Hey, I know I shouldn’t be in there and really don’t want to be in there, but shouldn’t someone be greeting customers? Finally seated, 1/2 hour wait for food. I won’t return there. And I don’t recommend this...
