The service we had was horrible!

Alyssa was our server and did the bare minimum. I wondered why until we got the check. For a party of six or more there’s a 20% gratuity added.

I was In hospitality for 10 years and understand gratuity and by my standards, I give 20% for normal base service. I give more than 20% for exceptional and efficient service. Alyssa was not even normal standard service. That is because she knew she was guaranteed at least 20% from our table, which is poor management. When I was a corporate trainer, we were taught full hands in and full hands out. That means every time you go to the table if there’s something you can grab, you grab it and if there wasn’t something on your table, you go to your neighboring tables and grab something. You walk into the kitchen with full hands and while exiting the kitchen you have full hands. Our dishes stacked more than three plates high, our beverages all were watered down, and when our food came out she never did a check back to confirm if we were happy with our food. If she did she would’ve known that my filet came out medium well and not medium rare. Every time she come to the table, we would have empty bar drinks, and I wouldn’t say anything. It got to the point where I had to go find her and ask her to please come back to our table as we’d like to put in a couple of drinks. This is not acceptable service by any means. I think changing the automatic gratuity would help in providing better service. As I read the reviews, several other people have had issues with the gratuity portion and bad service. It seems like a pattern. The music was perfect. He was a great performer. We were there on July 5, 2025 during sunset. We arrived at 6:00 p.m. Friday night to a restaurant with approximately 10 tables We ordered drinks The server had to come back three times to confirm my drink order drinks come out promptly I got a whiskey sour that maybe had one ounce of alcohol in it at 6:15 we informed the server that we were ready to order and we didn't want any appetizers as we had a wedding to get to at 7:00 at 6:45 a manager came around and asked everything was we just informed them that we were waiting on our food and had been the server came back around at 6:48 and we told the server that if the food wasn't out by 7:00 we had to leave at 6:55 Five of our entrees came out of the seven we ordered we waited 5 more minutes for the other two entrees when they did not come I met with the manager and informed them that we had to leave to go to the wedding and to take off the peel and eat shrimp and the blackened fish sandwitch we left well the rest of our party finished their entrees at 7:15 when the rest of our party was leaving they informed us that our food had just come out Management decided that they still needed to bill for the peel and eat shrimp despite the fact that it was 15 minutes later than we could possibly have stayed and I had asked them to not make it unacceptable we only received one drink and no waters while we waited for the hour The manager informed us that they're under new management I informed him that it doesn't seem to help would not recommend this place rip off waste of time unable to properly staff The food may be good but after waiting for an hour I didn't have...

I usually don't leave reviews but I feel after spending over $400 on my bill I feel obligated that I should say something. My family first time at this restaurant and the last. I had a grilled chicken sandwich. It was supposed to be a grilled chicken breast. Well what it was a chicken nugget. The chicken was so small it was about the size of a quarter. That is no exaggeration. When I opened the bun removed the tomato, lettuce and onion I couldn't believe this is what they called a chicken breast. It was all bun with lettuce and tomato. I don't know who there cook is but I'm sure he is told what to serve. I think they're taking a chicken breast and cutting it up into small pieces to make it go further. This was a major ripoff and beware I'm sure I'm not the only one. No I cannot recommend this restaurant and will not return.

I did receive a email from the manager of Floridays. He told me he looked into my review and said they should never cut corners. He did refund my bill for price of the chicken sandwich. Which was not my reason for the review. He said that should have never happened. I hope he followed up with the cook about why he would think this would be okay. He had to see what he was doing fixing the sandwich. I thank him for his follow up. Hopefully future customers will not receive food that I consider...
