Rosie's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Braintree

(This happened about 4 ir 5 months ago but i just figured out how to use the reviews page) We used to eat here once or so a week. I did an online order for 2 salads. One I added chicken and steak tips to and the other just chicken which I meant to add 2 sides of steak tips to also but hit send before i realized i had not..It is like a 5 dollar charge for each added to salads. I called immediately to add a side order of steak tips to the order for that salad. After a moment of confusion I explained that I planned to pay cash for the extra side as I had used my card on the online order, and everything seemed fine. When I arrived I told them who I was and stated that I was ready to pay for the steak tip add on. After a back and forth with the young counter boy and an older cook in another language, he came back and rang me up at 22 dollars and change. I immediately let him know I had paid for everything minus the 2 add on steak tips. The cook spoke up and said they don't have steak tip sides and he was charging me for 2 large steak tip subs! To avoid getting arrested i left.. I will never order from these scam...

Food is great. Service, not so much.

Rosie's used to be the go-to place for lunch for a colleague and me. Our office is right down the street so the location was great (and it's connected to a convenience store to boot). The folks who work there are always nice. In a hurry, sure, but plenty friendly.

I'd be lying if I said their food wasn't good. Not amazing, but definitely good for some of the junk I've found in the area. The buffalo sauce is some of the best around (and they sell it by the bottle...).

We went a few times a week for some weeks - but then mistakes started happening. Wrong dressing. Wrong cheese. No utensils. Wrong salad. No salad. Yup.

The way they package to-go orders is in a stapled-shut brown paper bag, so if you've ordered a lot of stuff you can't tell what's in it. After they just missed a meal in our bag completely, twice, we were done. There are just too many other good places in the area to...

Called to place an order for pick up, around 7:00 pm on a Thursday. I didn't even get to finish putting my order in, so I called back to finish my order, and I was immediately hung up on.

I've usually had good experiences at this location, but that's just unprofessional to the core, no call back, nor attempt to explain that there's an issue with their phone(s) or my phone. I checked my phone, to be sure, with one of the others in the room with me to make sure my phone was working correctly, which it was. I'll add they were both just as surprised as I was.

Place makes a mean buff chick calzone, don't get me wrong, but it wasn't a dropped call, I was hung up on twice, I could hear it over the receiver on my phone, I got to rattle off 2 of the 4 items we intended to order and was unable to complete that order, despite my...
