One of the worst experiences I’ve had in a long time. This was my first time trying this place and was really excited for the peking duck because it was recommended by a friend and the reviews looked enticing. I ordered the True Love and Sex on the beach maki and the Peking duck. The sushi was good but the peking duck should not have been served. It looked it was reheated multiple times where the skin was so dark borderline burnt and the duck was not plucked at all. I understand that when you get duck there will be some feathers here and there but there was feathers on every single piece, it was inedible. Immediately I let the server know the issue and if we could get a different one or get something else or just completely taken off because I was not able to eat that. The server gave me so much attitude and told me not to eat it and to just take the skin off myself. The manager came to speak to to us and told us that they do not offer refunds or take backs yet I came to their reviews and saw that they gave someone a full refund for not enjoying their food. Super unprofessional and the worst dining experience...
Read moreCame to eat lunch as it's a relatively new restaurant. The restaurant is really nice inside with many seats and a full bar. Looks very fancy without needing to be too formal.
Ordered the Beef Skewers, Peking Duck w/ bone soup (soup cooked with the duck bones), Typhoon Shelter Chicken Wings and Mongolian Beef. They also let us know that they have a promo right now if you order 75$ worth of food, you get a free General Gao Chicken (or some other entree...don't remember what it was). The beef skewer was very tender and tasty...would definitely order again. The Typhoon Shelter Chicken was also very juicy, crispy and tasty. The duck was not too amazing, not fatty/juicy...seems to be cooked ahead of time. Lastly, the Mongolian beef was decent, but probably won't order again as it didn't WOW me. I didn't really try the General Gao Chicken since I was too full already.
All in all, the food was very good and will definitely come back to try their other items. They also have a catering menu if you are planning a party and need some delicious...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Feng Shui in Braintree, and I have to say—it was nothing short of extraordinary. This Chinese fusion restaurant brilliantly marries traditional flavors with modern creativity, delivering a dining experience that is both elegant and exciting.
From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere set the tone: warm, stylish, and welcoming. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the food they were serving.
Drinks were equally impressive. The curated wine list and inventive cocktail menu paired beautifully with the bold and nuanced flavors of the dishes.
Whether you're a longtime lover of Chinese cuisine or someone looking to try something refreshingly new, Feng Shui is a must-visit. It’s clear that every detail here—from ingredients to ambiance—has been thoughtfully crafted to create a truly excellent dining experience.
I'll absolutely be returning soon. Bravo...
