Food is decent. Cubans are good. Devil craps are really good. In general… I guess I am not use to paying more than full retail for cafeteria style food. With no waiter or waitress. Been here 4-5 times and every time I left, was pretty satisfied with what I got. However complaints from my self and my company on the cost was consecutive all 4-5 visits my last visit I ordered ribs. I got two ribs with two sides of vegetables. 15.99 or 16.99 for two ribs I asked the lady to throw in an extra rib. She said it will cost me….. I had no doubt about that! So I actually paid more. 😬 I agreed and said I would just like a filling meal. She also said a lot of people complained about cost. I get a 1/2 slab for that price at a bbq place. Anyway at check out my buddy got wings and ask for some ranch. He wasn’t happy when he had to pay for that too. Over all I’m just not willing to pay high prices and be under served with smaller portions. This place is new and will receive a lot of business because of that. However just like the last place I believe it is supported by the locals. Not saying, I’ll never will go back just saying it would definitely be a while. And the rest of my friends and family agree it’s too pricey. And our go to is Mr. and Mrs. Crabb Brandon , Carrabba‘s plant city, Long Horn south Lakeland, La septima Brandon, Wasbi’s plant city and La plaza Mexico zephyr hills. Pastry counter looks amazingly good. LoL but I don’t eat sweets anymore. However it looks beautiful when you walk in. Ps. Why ask for here or to go? if you’re gonna put everything in to go containers and put it in a bag for us to sit down and then unwrap it that boggles my mind also….🤔 OUTSIDE APPEARANCE: Parking lot is congested with an auto detail business with road cones and trash everywhere plus ugly left over roof canopys. looks like third world country...
Read moreMy wife and I were here this past Sunday and were surprised to see that they were open on a Sunday until 8 PM. It was about 7 o’clock and every place around here, including Morenos have the bottom of the barrel left when it is near their closing time such as potato rolls and devil crabs. When I saw that a devil crab was 899 I thought no way I would pay it for that but then I saw how big they were which is about three times the size of all the other places around here. It was the best crab I have ever had in the Cuban had three times as much meat as any Cuban sandwich I could find in this area for $10. Everything was made fresh, including the devil crabs. I ate a half of my Cuban sandwich on that day and the other half on the other day and boy did it fill me up. My wife got a meal of beef stew, rice and some other things and it lasted for two days and she still has some left over. My neighbor told us about them as they go there for breakfast every week and we will definitely go back until all our friends about them. Thank you to the owner and employees who were so nice and helpful and it is great to have a place close to us. That really cares about their customers. We were here again yesterday and everything was as good As last time, except the onion rings were very burnt. Next time I will check everything and if something is wrong, I will let them know, but we will definitely...
Read moreAbsolutely in LOVE with this local spot! What an exciting development to have a scratch kitchen in Dover, right off of I-4. (Way better than the other fast food options off of McIntosh Rd.)
My family and I have enjoyed multiple breakfasts (both the buffet and made-to-order sandwiches), and I’m eager to enjoy the expansive lunch buffet! Ropa Vieja everyday!
The restaurant and bathrooms are CLEAN! You can tell the owner and employees take pride in the space.
The cafe con leche is absolutely delicious, and the portions of food are hearty!
The space is EXCELLENT for large gatherings: family dinners, pre-Sunday school, or lunch with colleagues.
There are made-to-go options at the front counter, ranging from sweet to savory.
Shop Local. Eat Local. Support Local. I’m proud to say that this restaurant is a joy to support, and I’m looking forward to bringing more friends to...
