Just just awful! On our way back from Tampa Saturday night at 11:40 we exited I-4 to get a milkshake. McDonalds across the street was closed for remodeling? So we go to BK. Pull up to the drivethrough and there are 2 cars in each lane of the double drive through. Ok, nevertheless we really want a shake so we stay. Before too long we are blocked in by the MANY cars behind us and NO ONE is advancing. Well we're already into it for 10 minutes wasted so we stay in line. By the time we order (fast easy order right?), we've invested 15 +minutes in this. Mind you, we could be over halfway home to Winter Haven now or up the road 4 miles to an exit with more choices. So by now people are pulling out of line behind us but we've ordered so we wait and wait and wait... We finally get to the window half an hour after we stopped and she takes our money (after we tell her the car in front of us left without their order). THE MILKSHAKES WERE MELTED! But she already had my money and all we get is a trite "sorry about that". NO OFFER TO REFUND MONEY OR MAKE A FRESH SHAKE. By now it's 12:10 and we are so tired and mad we just left. I mean Really! Read moreThis Burger King is right around the corner from my house so it is very convenient, however that is the only upside to this location. I have a weakness for soft serve ice cream and this is where I go to get it. On the last three occasions I have pulled up to the drive thru and sat for 5 minutes at a time with no one even coming to the speaker and last night was the last time. I was the only person not only in the drive thru but in the parking lot and I sat and waited for about 4-5 minutes and another car came to the other speaker and was taken before me. Then when they finally took my order I got "I'm sorry I forgot you were there". I asked for a manager who in turn said I'm sorry that happened. Don't apologize if you don't mean it, and honestly you must not it has happened three times. Hire someone who wants the job and will pay attention to your customers. I have to say when I got my cone of which I still paid for it was half the size as normal and melting because while I was complaining about the service they were just holding it I guess. No worries Burger King, I will find someone who not only wants to take my money but will give me decent service...
Read moreI stop at this Burger King with some frequency since it is conveniently located between my house and just about everywhere I go. Something happened today that prompted me to go the extra mile and post a review. I received stellar customer service from Amanda, who I understand will become a store manager next week.
I believe that we should receive good customer service from EVERYWHERE we patronize as a minimum expectation. So ... when an experience stands out, as it did today, I feel strongly that it should be commented on so it will happen again! I have a strong hunch that Ananda offers stellar customer service, not to get positive Google reviews, but because she feels it’s the right thing to do. THAT should result in business success.
I hope you will do me a favor and visit the Burger King at the intersection of I-4 and Macintosh to see if I’m over-selling Amanda and this location. I think you will find that I’m not ... and I think you will thank me for this review.
