I would not recommend the Timber Ridge Lodge Restaurant at Keystone resort. This is not a review about the food, but the service. We made a 1:00 PM reservation on a Thursday and were seated at a table for two in the Alpenglow Stube side of the lodge. At approximately 1:35 after we had eaten our main meal and my wife was getting coffee and a brownie, the dining room attendant informed me that we needed to leave in 10 minutes, by 1:45. I indicated that my wife was getting coffee and a dessert. He then indicated that we now had 8 minutes left. As soon as my wife arrived, he returned to our table and indicated that we needed to leave immediately or he would call the ski patrol to have us escorted out of the restaurant. We requested a conversation with the manager who also threatened to call ski patrol. By this time there was only one other family in the restaurant. Come to find out, that side of the restaurant would be closing at 2:00 and we were not being asked to leave by 1:45 for another reservation. Really??? We couldn't stay until 2:00 and enjoy our coffee and dessert??? Perhaps some customer service training is in order so that customers actually feel welcomed and appreciated after spending $18 for a mediocre hamburger and skimpy...

Horrible experience! Trays were wet. I had to ask for a drying towel to dry my tray off so my food didn't get soaked. One of the employees put his arm in my food reaching across to get a tray and didn't offer to get me a new plate of food or anything. No one was in line but there were about 6 employees standing around doing nothing but chatting and socializing instead of cleaning. There was plenty of cleaning to do. Trays were wet. Tables were dirty. Condiment container said honey mustard but inside was regular yellow mustard. I asked to speak to a manager about my experience and was laughed at. Also they would not give my daughter a To-go bag when I wanted to take our food with us but their sign says they have carry out options. Apparently not! When I get back down to Keystone Resort. I will be sharing with the Management my...

We stopped in about 2:30 and the staff was “over it” I got the last bowl of chili which he scrapped the sides and bottom of the pan to make up what he said made a full bowl but it wasn’t. He was very unhappy. My partner got chicken strips which were so dry it could have been jerky. There were no spoons, no little paper cups which didn’t matter because there was no ketchup, mayo or ranch in the pump containers. When I asked for a spoon they sent me to the other station where there was one spoon but still empty condiment containers. The water station was messy with old cooler type dispenser. The building is fantastic. There is a dirty dish station taking up space for tables at the window where everyone wants to sit. The staff was having a bad day I guess, not caring or friendly. But the...

Awesome deck with fantastic views of Breck and Boreas. Huge fireplace to warm by on soft leather couches. Food and drinks are pricey but hey, you're at a resort! Definitely a place worth stopping at!! ------Update!------ Downgraded to a 4 from a 5-star... Food quality has taken a dive and yet remains expensive ($17 for 4 thawed chicken fingers, $17 for a cheeseburger)... And they no longer allow outside food and beverages inside during reservations. Not family-friendly anymore.

Food was decent but it's super expensive. Chicken and fries combo was $16.25 and a 20 oz pop brought my total over 26 bucks. There was a 3 dollar fountain option advertised but there was no fountain. The location is gouging here, if they advertise and then don't offer a fair price on the ONLY alternative. The guy at the cash register laughed at me when I asked and said, blame covid. Nice try, remove your false advertisement.

Beautiful spot to stop while skiing the slopes at Keystone. Mountain vistas, clean air, happy people. They were severely understaffed, so the wait was long for food and the garbage was a bit out of control. I am sure it would not be the case with a full staff. Even with that, I very much recommend you stop in. Food was pretty tasty and the atmosphere fantastic.
