Eddie's Rise N' Dine — Restaurant in Breese

We seated ourselves, a group of 5. There were only 3 other customers eating together at a booth. After roughly 10 minutes I had to walk up to ask the server for menus. 5 minutes later she took our drink order, then a few minutes later brought the drinks and said she would be back to take our order. 15 actual minutes go by before someone from my group got up to find the server and ask if we could order. The group of 3 had left, it was just us. She takes our order after about 35 - 40 minutes since we walked in, she knew nothing about the special and when asked about the soup said idk I think we're out of it. 30 minutes go by while waiting for the breakfast food we ordered for dinner. In that time a group of 2 walked in, sat down, and left after not even being greeted or even acknowledged by the server. We call her over and ask what's going on. She said "we've been really busy" while we were the only customers there. About 10 minutes later the food comes out which was just okay. We were there for roughly 2 hours. The manager from today 3/31 was horrendous. I order food sometimes for my husband to pick up on his way home. Ordered French toast with strawberries. He picked up the order and it wasn't until he got home that we realized they hadn't included the strawberries. When I called up there the manager told me that she forgot to order strawberries but if I wanted a refund, I had to bring the French toast back. I asked if I could place another order and have them deliver it instead and she rudely told me that I would have to bring the French toast back first then go home and order a new order on the website so they could then charge me a delivery fee for the makeup order. Twice they had a chance to tell me that they were out of what ordered. Once when I placed the phone order and another when he picked up. They failed both times and then be to told I have to be the one to run around to fix their mess. Terrible. We will never order from here again and I will be telling everyone in town. We got there around 12pm on a Sunday. I’m guessing there was a big rush at breakfast because they said there would be a half hour wait for food. There was only 3 or 4 tables when we arrived so I’m not sure why it would have taken that long but no big deal. We ordered drinks and it took at least ten minutes to get sodas and water. We were out of drinks and waited about 30 minutes so my husband took our cups to the counter to be refilled and the girls were all sitting together at a booth. We waited about 45 minutes for our food. It was decent but they forgot the kids meals sides and had to wait a long time for them to bring those out too. We waited again forever for them to bring our tab to pay. The girls seemed unfriendly and definitely didn’t want to be there like we were an inconvenience to them. I really don’t like leaving bad reviews but I felt that since this is a new establishment it should be brought to managements...
