Wow, what a nice gem in the North country of Minnesota. Just north of Brainerd, and near a golf course, this bar and grill is top level. Quite new, and featuring top quality materials, a nice big bar, very nice staff and excellent food. West metro quality with small town prices! Even has a golf simulator for the golfers that want to keep fresh in the winter months! Excellent place and absolutely worth the visit. Whenever I manage to make it up to the Pequot Lakes area, this will be a for sure stop!

An AMAZING ADDITION to the Breezy Point Scene! From the food to the people - this place is a MUST STOP in the Breezy Area! The bar area is amazing with all the TVs, and the dining area and tap room are beautiful and spacious! And the golf simulators are SO FUN!!!! AWESOME!!! 10/10!!!

This will be long winded. The short version is, beautiful place, mediocre staff, horrible food. Only gets 2 stars because the place looks great and the beer wall is a cool touch for the area.

My wife and I walked in to a "Wait to be seated" sign. It was our first time so we were taking in the beautiful interior of the place and checking it out. No one was at the hostess stand but a voice from my right asked some sort of question. I turned to look and there were a group of 4 people standing next to the second booth away from the stand. The person talking to me was wrapped in a blanket like it was kindergarten nap time. They asked if we wanted to dine in or sit at the bar. After I processed what was going on, I was thinking 'both' in that we wanted to sit at the bar and to dine in, so we just headed up to the bar.

The bartender was prompt and got us set up with a card to access the beer wall. It was very cool but they definitely need some help in selecting their craft beers. Many were very common and available all over the place and too many of them were Octoberfest seasonals. We got a couple beers and went back to order food.

We ordered a jumbo pretzel and a hot dog "italian style" to split. Around 20 minutes go by and our food arrive. The hot dog had peppers and mushrooms that looked like they had been cooked the week before and been left to shrivel in the sun, but at least the hot dog was hot. The cheese sauce they served on the hotdog was pretty good as well. The fries on the other hand we cold, like they had been cooked hours before hand and left to sit NOT under a heat lamp. We finished the hot dog and moved onto the pretzel. While it was shiny like it was freshly coated with butter and salt, it was also cold. Not refrigerator cold, but like left outside on a 50 degree day cold. The cheese it came with was the same as the hotdog and that being hot was about the only thing that saved it. We were on our way home, and after waiting 20 minutes for the food the first time, weren't about to send it back and deal with another wait that would likely be longer for actual fresh food.

Yes, I know I could have given them an opportunity to 'make it right' but the reality of that business is you really only get one shot at making a good impression. It's on the business to run well, not the customer to coach them along the way.

The pretzel stand at your local high school football game serves better, fresher, and hotter food...

For 2 beers, a hot dog w/fries, and a jumbo pretzel (the food almost as cold as the beers); it was $35 before tip.

The mismatch in a beautiful restaurant with unprofessional workers and unacceptable food is tragic. They desperately need new/better management or this beautifully remodeled spot is headed for...

We were so excited to check out this new place. We brought in our out of town family for lunch today, Saturday. The place was not busy, considering it was lunch time but we figured we'd give it a try. The waitress was terrible and had zero customer service skills. She made us feel that we were an inconvenience to her, even though our table of 5 would produce a tab well over $150. We first ordered adult beverages and they took a really long time. My sister in law also asked if she could exchange her protein on a flatbread from beef to chicken, as she doesn't eat beef and the menu lacked chicken choices. After her third ask, they kindly offered the substitution, a win! We also ordered nachos, added chicken, for $17 and the chicken might have been made last year. It was so dry and lacked flavor and volume. The nachos are served drenched and in a bowl, so you need to eat them with a fork. My SIL's flatbread chicken was the same. We also ordered a smash burger, which was mediocre and their freshly made french fries, were cold! My husband ordered a side of their soup, which was also served cold! It more so looked like a gumbo than soup but at least, it should have been served hot. My brother ordered the wings and they were so salty. A 6'4" man couldn't even finish his lunch. We also tried their top shelf margarita, it tasted okay but it was served cloudy and yellow. My SIL had one of their other drink specials, tequila, lemonade, and iced tea and it was unpalatable. My brother received a card, for their super cool tap wall. He could at least fill up his own glass and not wait or ask several times for a refill. However, paying is interesting to say the least. He paid with a credit card but was told they can't cash it out until the end of the night and the waitress took his card for the tap wall back. Hmm....how do you know if anyone else will use that, since she told him that it's connected to his credit card? Maybe we are just new to the whole pour your own scene.

On a positive note, the atmosphere is beautiful and clean. The bar and bar chairs are very nice and comfortable. They also have so many pull tab boxes! The tap wall is innovative and includes beer, wine and root beer! The outdoor seating and decor is also beautiful! My husband ordered one of their brats and said it was delicious!

Sadly, we will not be back to give this another try. I can't imagine how much worse it could be, if they were actually busy! Good luck to those that...

We are year round residents and we've eaten here 5 times since it's been open, usually a weekday or Sunday late afternoon or early evening and its always been 2-4 ppl at the bar and 1-2 tables with 2-4 ppl at them. 1st visit no wait, excellent service, food fast, 10/10 on the salad, giant pretzel and burger. 2nd time same atmosphere, no wait, excellent service, fast food, 10/10 on burger and salad. 3rd time brought friends, same atmosphere, no wait, excellent service, ordered 2 farmers salad 1 with chicken, 3 burgers, giant pretzel and nachos with pork, fast food, but the salads both were drenched in dressing like after your done 1/2 a cup of dressing...yuk 8/10, no worries note to self next time order dressing on the side. 4th time brought more friends, same atmosphere, no wait, excellent service, fast food ordered salad dressing on the side, 3 burgers all received wrong doneness, no worries 8/10. 5th time, same atmosphere, no wait, excellent service, fast food, but...lastnight hubby switched it up and so did I, husband ordered Italian beef, read the ingredients was cool with shaved beef, cheese sauce, peppers and added sautƩed onions and a giant pretzel, I ordered nachos no meat, 2/10. My husband said his sandwich was horrible, tasteless and dry he asked the waiter for au' jus dipping sauce, didn't help much, as he continued to eat, he said I didn't realize that there were jalapeƱos on here I just thought peppers meant red, yellow and green bell peppers, my husband can't stand jalapeƱos, my nachos came out on a platter and looked ok, but you could tell they didn't take there time making them. The chips were spread out with some shredded un-melted cheese thrown to one side, some cheese sauce on the same one side(I'm assuming they thought the cheesesauce would melt the shredded cheese?) and a glob of sour cream on the same one side, and a glob of salsa on the same one side, and asked for my guacamole in a cup, nothing on the opposite side just chips, once you ate through the top layer of chip it wasn't chips anymore it was chip crumbs, like at the bottom of the bag crumbs an inch deep, very disappointing especially when it's not busy, and your food comes to you like this, sounded like a bunch of little kids running the kitchen with all the little girls giggling, laughing and running around. No consistency, sad because this place has potential! If they could only be...
