I was really disappointed about my experience here today. I had a craving for a wonderful juicy burger and famers just didn't not satisfy that craving. I asked for medium rare and the burger came out medium well, dry, and crunchy on the outside. This is the third time my husband and I have given famers a chance. And I've been here for social outings as well that were equally disappointing. Ive had issues here ranging from service, to forgetting food that was ordered to quality issues. Today we had the junk basket ($20, way overpriced) and the timberstone burger ($18) and a beer that was $10. The wonderful older waitress was kind enough to give a $1 discount. It should've been more for the improperly cooked burger but we didn't want to cause the waitress too much trouble. I've also noticed allot of the waitstaff tends to hang around the bar talking for extended periods of time (today's waitress was wonderful and she didn't do that). Theres just something that puts me off about the servers having social gatherings up there and this has happend every time ive been to famers. This place is just way overpriced for the service and quality and I feel bad for the people that fly in to go skiing here. A hot quality meal would be wonderful after a long day of skiing. To the people that are here visiting: there are better places to...
Read moreSeriously- we come here less and less. The prices go up every six months and the quality of the food is - meh. Chicken parm appears to be a frozen Tyson chicken cutlet from a bag - overdone pasta & pretty sure jarred sauce - $16.99. Alfredo - thick and probably from a jar - Romignoli’s will give you the real deal for about the same price.
Their sandwiches - so so - but order the prime rib sandwich with all of the fixins you’re up to $17. - several places in IM same taste but for a lot less $$.
I’m not sure what we’re paying for here - the bartender is snarky - the waitresses constantly turning over - I guess it’s resort prices for ball park quality food. They seem to think they’re an upscale restaurant with gourmet food. No....
Read moreThe blackened shrimp wrap is always my go-to when eating here and is usually delicious. Unfortunately, today it was inedible. The shrimp were completely transparent and had absolutely no blackened seasoning, as if i had ordered a partially cooked shrimp cocktail wrap. I let the waitress know, as I’m pregnant and obviously don’t want to be getting sick. Maybe 5 minutes later she brought it back out and it was exactly the same... the shrimp weren’t hot, let alone warm, so I know it wasn’t cooked any further. The mojos were over cooked, hard and room temperature...three others at my table had ordered them and had the same issue. It’s as if they upped all the prices and lowered the quality, which is super...
