Draketown Eats LLC — Restaurant in Bremen

I'm keeping in mind this is the first week open while writing this. There are definitely some kinks that need to be worked out.

There were 4 of us in the party, and we were seated as soon as we walked in. This was great because we were prepared to wait with how crowded the parking lot was. The waitress was nice, but I'm guessing this was her first time serving maybe because she seemed a little frazzled. Drinks came out quickly, and we ordered. This is were it gets messy.

We ordered a pizza, came out super quick. I ordered a smash burger and it came out like 10 to 15 minutes after the pizza. The other person in my party ordered the smokey fries (an appetizer) and it never came out. The waitress kept saying she was checking on it but it still never appeared. We ended up going inside to get the check and speak with the manager. The manager was nice and immediately got the smokey fries in a box for us to take with us.

Again everyone working was nice, but timing of food and service was off. We sat on the patio, one table seated after us got food before we did, and another table was there before us and still didn't have food as we were leaving.

If your their for the experience , yes it is new people are awesome . Service it’s ok , what I ordered was like eating giant fish sticks out of a box ,not beer battered pieces of fish and the fries was burnt brown made me made as hades , you over priced you menu . 63.00 dollars drinks are over priced . Burnt food pisses me off and mortans hungry fisherman . Draketown eats over rated , sorry fix this mess , people will burn out quick . So understand I don’t say this to be rude or ugly I say this so you can fix this 45 min wait out side in the heat or weather or car parking sucks won’t lie . You need to fix the parking for bar only parking and restaurant parking. People make it out to be a best place in the world , your just a restaurant what happened to Dallas eats . You make it hell to park traffic is bad , your parking over runs Chris’s store , trying to have the concept to BUCEES , me and wife didn’t even get our Cole slaw Come on Owners fix this mess , I suggest call before you go to reserve a spot , patio was nice as long as air is moving , who is posting great ratings , I feel you need to be honest about ratings on all apps , opinions don’t have your friends post dishonest posting to gain rating most companies do this , have integrity about your business...

They seemed pretty well staffed and it was not very busy when we went, they had multiple open booths/tables and our server never came back for refills. I ended up having to share a drink with my husband and had to ration it. They’re new and have a limited menu and we wanted to try the fried pickles but they were out, and they were also out of regular fries (we were told) but we noticed another table being brought sides of fries? When we ordered our meals that originally came with fries, she asked which sides we wanted and of course we had to pick a different side since we were told they were out of the default side our meals came with. When we got the check, we had upcharges for the different sides we ordered (not by choice) and it also doesn’t mention upcharges for different sides on the menu nor did the server mention it but I feel like the courteous thing to do for your guests is to waive the upcharge if you’re out of the original side that the meal came with. We overheard another table who didn’t have a great experience from what it sounded like, but hopefully they iron out some of these wrinkles. Service aside, they completely redid the building and it looks great inside and out. But they did seem to have a small issue with multiple flies flying...
