Georgia Peach Oyster Bar — Restaurant in Villa Rica

What a great atmosphere! Boss Man and I worked 12 hours that day and on the way back to the shop, stopped in. There we were in a big dump truck pulling a long trailer with a large machine chained down to it. We need a large space to park. There are real nice Harley Davidson bikes and some real nice four-wheel drive and other pickup trucks already there. So we do get a space and we get out and it's the first time either one of us ever been here. Heading towards the front door big dog sticks his head out of a truck window barks ferociously and startles me. A group of about 4 standing on the porch, 3 with long hair long beards and tattoos. The other one, a lady looks at me and says, oh he just wants to be petted, I said, oh well maybe on the way out. I follow Bossman on into the building which is a very old building I have no idea what it could have been used for before they turned it into a bar, we go to the bar and sit. Looking around I see many more people looking like the 4 on the porch. I am liking this more and more. Feeling comfortable. Folks are at tables eating, drinking, talking and most of all relaxing having a good time. We order beers, best coldest beer I have had in a long time. It tasted like another one, so I ordered another one. Second beer had ice flakes, oh mine, l knew then I was close to paradise. Boss man and I have stumbled into a very cool place. We had front seats to the kitchen. Saw a man cooking cooking cooking up a bunch of food. People was hungry and he was filling their needs. We ordered 2 appetizers and share them. And I get a third beer which is unusual two's my limit. The food was excellent. Had workers in there that cared about our needs. I want to go again, but I live a long way from the place. If you are white, free and pro Trump want to drink cold beer, eat great tasting food and maybe shoot a game of pool get a pocket full of money and get yourself in there for a...

I haven’t visited the bar yet but plan to, so I can see with my eyes what everyone online is saying.

Watched a news interview where the owner denied being racist while justifying using a racist slur in his advertising as free speech. The look of his clientele & the decor suggests otherwise.

I think it’s a pathetic attempt by a racist to drum up attention & drive more traffic to his establishment. It’s also an attempt by those (patrons, staff, & owner) lower on the social economic ladder who feel invisible and powerless to changes in America, to feel still in control. To feel superior to at least one, if not all non-whites in this country.

I can’t understand how this has anything over 1 star. The food was absolutely horrible. Half of it was overcooked. The shrimp was too tough to chew. I didn’t even try the oysters because they smelled rancid. Service was ok but I couldn’t even pay attention because I was gagging from the smell. Do not recommend at all.
