My boyfriend and I are new to the area and decided to try this spot out last weekend for a breakfast sandwich, since on Instagram they looked amazing. I have an allergy to wheat and coconut so sometimes getting breakfast can be tricky. I came in and immediately saw that they were advertising a gluten free bread to add on to a breakfast sandwich, so obviously I ordered that with an egg and cheese. When I ordered the cashier abruptly told me is it an allergy, when I then said yes I’m allergic to wheat. She then told me they can’t guarantee that it won’t be involved in cross contamination. That’s completely fine, being that with wheat I mostly get congested and sneeze a ton, which still isn’t a fun time lol. In my opinion you shouldn’t advertise that you have gluten free bread, if you can’t guarantee it to be safe for folks with celiac. But my god it was the best gluten free bread I’ve ever had, and I did not have a reaction. Only thing I’m confused on is I wanted one of the smoothies very bad, but every single one had coconut yogurt. I asked if we could just keep that out and just add more milk or whatever I wasn’t picky. They saw no they can’t make substitutions. I get it I was adding something expensive but I just said remove the yogurt. In my opinion make that an option for those with allergies or even in general. When a smoothie is twice as much as your breakfast sandwich, you’re losing out on money. Overall good breakfast sandwich, but the service and “rules” are the reason I...

Maybe even the artwork is for sale. Wifi available. Friendly service. Good dark roast coffee ☕ and the glazed doughnut tasted a little better than Dunkin's and Heavenly. Having a chance to sit 🪑 down and read the paper 🗞️ was nice. Outdoor seating available. Facemasks required to enter. I recommend a visit. Can be busy. Wifi available. Came back for "the New Yorker", a bagel 🥯 with lots of lox, dill cream cheese, cucumbers, tomatoes and capers. Can come with or without bacon 🥓 and your choice of bagel 🥯. I didn't eat lunch because I was so full 🌝. I had a chocolate frosted doughnut with my coffee ☕. Good! Gluten free options available for pastries. I had friendly conversations with several customers. One 🕐 said he loves the sandwich 🥪 I ordered and showed me his purchase, a english muffin with sliced bananas, honey 🍯 and cinnamon. Looks good. The owner, who made my meal, checked on me and showed his Instagram photos of other delicious 😋 creations. He wiped down ⬇️ the counters were people just ate. Bathroom was in good condition. Accessible to people with wheelchairs and...
Read moreHands down one of the best places you can eat. The food is beyond phenomenal. Everything is freshly made, the portions are generous and made to order in front of you. What truly makes this place 5 stars however is the service. I had recently been introduced to this establishment and I've gone at least once a week to enjoy their delicious offerings, and it didn't take long before I was greeted by my first name, pleasant hellos big smiles from all of the people working, just today I forgot to order my meal with a slight substitution that I had been making in the past, only to have the owner confirm with me if I wanted that substitution. You don't get service that personal and dedicated in many places anymore, and this is where this secret gem truly shines. Between the phenomenal food and the phenomenal service this establishment deserves way more than the allotted five stars. Thank you to the owner and his family each week for feeding me..I truly...
