Where do I start? I have been coming to the location since the '90s. The restaurant changed ownership hands, and I stopped going for a long time. The only reason being I am not a huge fan of change. Starting in 2020, I started coming back and regular, and it made me realize what a mistake I made by not coming here more often over the years. The food is just awesome. I have had most of the appetizers, and I have not been disappointed by a single one. The blackened filet and tuna bites are just amazing. The Buffalo Tenders are the best I have ever had even the grilled tenders are amazing, especially if you blacken them. They have also had some great specials for appetizers that I have tried. As far as meals, I have had some great steaks, world-class penne vodka, and great chicken parm and chicken franchaise. The staff is just amazing and treat my friends and me great and are so friendly to us. As with any good business, the owner is vital, and Mort does a great job running a top-notch business. Read moreOrdered Take out last night for my Wife. Chicken Parm to be exact. When I arrived told the Hostess I was here for my order. She returned with order and I gave my C/C to pay. When she left to process bill decided to check my order. Once again there was "barely" enough sauce on the Chicken Parm and Pasta. Had this problem before. When the Hostess returned explained the problem and asked for additional sauce. She left and upon returning told me it"s additional "$1.00." Told her the entree' was dry lacking sauce and there shouldn't be a "$1.00 charge." She left and then another women came to discuss the "$1.00 charge." She could have been the Manager or Owner. Not sure. Never introduced herself. Just kept on telling me its Policy to charge the "$1.00" for extra sauce. I reiterated it's lacking sauce and very dry. Didn't make a difference to her. If you want extra sauce pay the "$1.00." Could not believe we were going back and forth for a "$1.00." Here's the KICKER! Read moreNovember 29, 2024 Three friends and I had dinner here. My three friends all were VERY happy with their various selections. I ordered the penne vodka with grilled chicken. The penne vodka was excellent, very delicious, but the grilled chicken was tough. I asked for a steak knife and eventually the waitress stopped by and got me one, but the steak knife was no match for the tough chicken. I ate all the penne vodka and gave up on the chicken. I noticed that the chicken pieces were all very different sizes and shapes. which leads me to believe that perhaps the chef just plopped in whatever was leftover from other dishes rather than preparing chicken specifically for my meal. I've never been here before so I have only this single experience to report. As I said, my friends all had great meals, and my own pasta was perfect.
