When I received my spicy tenders they were soaked in thick brown grease and were extremely squishy and the breading was squishy and way darker brown than it should be. I worked at popeye's for a year when I was a teen so I know how this works, they aren't filtering the cooking oil often enough. I was told by an employee that corporate recently came up with some way to save money by filtering it less often but it doesn't work the way it's intended and lots of people have been complaining. This is not any employee, nor the manager's fault. When I go there nobody is anything but nice, polite and respectful to me but my one star review is for corporate. As usual corporations are out of touch with what needs to be done down here at the ground level and trying to pinch every penny they can so that CEO man can have his 50 foot yacht instead of a 30 foot one. I feel bad because the people working there are so nice but if half the time I go I get this disgusting slop that's a poor excuse for food, I won't be...

I’ve never been to any Chicken Express restaurants, and honestly, I’d probably go again. The biscuits were to die for, perfectly buttery, fluffy, if not a little small, which is really my only complaint.
For the cost, the portions are quite tiny, I got the #1 with some cheese sticks, and the total was almost $13, which amounted to 4 tiny chicken strips, 90% of which was breading. They were delicious, but I would’ve considered them more nuggets than strips. Only 2 mozzarella sticks per order, a tiny cup of gravy, and a little biscuit. Other than that, the service was great, wait time wasn’t too bad, friendly atmosphere, IMO, kind of underrated.
I think I ended up getting like 2 or 3 extra biscuits. If you go, try the sweet tea, it tasted super fresh, and was perfectly sweet. All in all, I personally really enjoyed my experience here, and if I’m back in the area, I’ll likely give it...
