This place would be easy to miss if not looking for it or knowing where it is. It sits in a small building with a few other businesses. A small, little bakery that appears to have standing room only. If they do have seating I wasn't aware of it. This wasn't a problem as I was looking for a bakery, not a sit-down coffee spot. A nice, clean little bakery right on the street front with parking on both ends of the building. (I'm not sure if you're supposed to park on both ends of the building, it was the weekend and almost noon so it wasn't busy at all) I was greeted with a friendly hello and wonderful bakery smells as soon as I made it in the door. I had almost no wait (it was still about noon). I got an assortment of a few different things. Everything was great. I would not have a problem trying Everything in the store as I'm sure everything in there is amazing. I also have to add that the Peanut Butter Donuts are the best I've had from anywhere. This will be a place I make a detour to any time I'm in the area, even if it's just for a Peanut Butter Donut.

Those Yum Yum donuts are quite possibly if there is such a thing as a perfect airy, sweet simple, glazed doughnut, there it is. That is quite possibly, the best donut I have ever put in my mouth. And for the first time in my entire life, I can honestly say that donut was worth every calorie. End of story PS. Mary there called Yum Yum’s. You’re the stupid one. Janine you might just have a Walmart palate.

I went in Friday to pay for a "Male" cake for Saturday. Everything was fine until I picked it up on Saturday. The cashier went to show me the cake, then changed it to "Come over here. I don't want my customers to see this!" (Um, okay. You wanted to show me!) After she opened the box, the lady in the back WORKING stated, "That's so embarrassing) like what??? You all make this cake and treat people bad for wanting it?? The way she smacked her lips, no wonder people are going to private bakers.

I love everything about Butter Crust Bakery. They have a great selection of donuts. My favorites are the Peanut Butter & Raspberry Jelly long john and the nutty twist. But, the Bismarks are also great. And of course the YumYums and the Uglies what they are best known for probably. This is a great place to grab donuts and other sweet treats. Their bread and buns are also wonderful. I have tried cookies and brownies but I haven't yet had the pleasure of their cakes. Get there early for the best...

First off the staff is an absolute delight. Very polite, upbeat and friendly. Now their pastries cookies, breads and more. Small hometown homemade goodies every day their open always fresh. Yes they do sometimes have day old items at a discount and while those are good we all know fresh is best. Don't get me wrong the day old item's are very delicious. I definitely recommend coming into their amazing smelling little bakery. You come in with only want a couple and you end up with hands...
