We were on the highway traveling home and stopped for iced tea. The McDonald's was clean and the cashier was an older woman who took our order. She was very polite and efficient. After I walked away from the counter I remembered that I forgot to ask for artificial sweetener. When I went back and asked the cashier for the sweetener, she turned and asked another employee who was behind the counter by the drive through window where the sweetener was. This girl glared at her, rolled her eyes, stomped over to the counter and shoved out the drawer where the sweetener was and stomped back to the window. The cashier gave me the sweetener, remained very friendly and professional. When I went to fill up my tea, the tea container was empty. I told the cashier that there was no tea. I thought we'd have to wait for someone to bring out another one, and the cashier kindly told us to bring our cups to her and they would fill them behind the counter. When she told the staff behind the counter that the tea canister was empty, that young girl rolled her eyes and when she handed the cups to her she jerked them out of her hands. I was shocked to see such behavior. That girl was such a bully, and I felt so sorry for that cashier. It wasn't particularly busy, and when the girl wasn't filling orders, flinging sweetener bins open and glaring, she had her arms crossed, appeared angry and generally irritated. I'm not sure what was going on with her and her day, but her meanness was unsettling. I also regret not speaking with that girl and calling her out on her behavior. The cashier remained very professional and...
Read more8/10/20 Yesterday after a very long wait through the drive thru (which is understandable due to a beautiful weekend in our tourist town on Lake Michigan) we ordered among other things, an ice cream cone and an order of fries. When I opened the bag not only were there no napkins but I was surprised to see that the medium fries we ordered was half full. Maybe about the size of a small order. We weren't about to go back through the line to correct our order, even though the ice cream was dripping all down the front of my husband's shirt. Today, since I was in the area anyway, I went through the drive thru line again to explain what happened and ordered a pop. I politely explained what happened to a manager, one I hadn't met before, and was told that I had needed to go back through the line yesterday and show them the fries for them to do anything. She said there's nothing they can do, "It's their policy". She didn't even apologize for my inconvenience. I am an honest person and felt they should be aware of what happened. I've never been treated like this at this McDonald's before. Their employees as a whole are usually very helpful, kind and considerate. I was extremely disappointed with her attitude towards me and ashamed of my local McDonald's - which has hundreds of out-of-town visitors come through daily. Will I return, of course I will, it's normally a great restaurant. One person or two won't keep us away, but from now on I will not leave the window without...

There was water puddled all over the floor near the pop machine and my daughter slipped and fell. The caution wet floor sign was put up in lieu of mopping.
We had to wait 10 minutes for our food, and the fries were disgusting. They were old, hard and had no salt on them. The mc chicken was rubber. The Nuggets (which im assuming was what the wait was for, but wasn't told) were the all stars of the meal.
There were timers beeping that no one attended to, people waiting at the counter to order for several minutes before being greeted. If i were the one person in grill I would have walked out. Two were supposed to be up front im guessing? One was going back and forth between drive through and passing out front counter orders. The other was slowly going back and forth "stocking" they set the bbq on the counter so we could grab our own and then grabbed it back before I was done getting the sauce. And the manager was looking at pictures on the phone with someone in back.
I was not given a reciept to leave a review. We were 2 hours from home, or I would have turned around and taken the food back. If I were a mystery shopper or a health inspector they would not be in great shape.
