Tusca's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Brighton Township

I’ve been going to Tusca’s since I was little and I’m not the type to complain, however this is just not good service. I went in with a friend yesterday evening and we ordered takeout. Our bills are separate and we paid them and we left. Come to find out when we return home (about a 15 minute drive) a whole calzone is missing. So I call and we go back and pick it up and the guy at the front desk says “here you go” and I ask to get comped for it because that was an hour of my time just to dine with them and then be missing half of my food. The guy rolls his eyes and opens the register and comps me for the calzone. Fast forward to today, my friend finds out they charged her for both of our orders and she calls to have the charge taken off her card and the guy says “Yeah I know who you are, you’re the girl from __” and she said she was my friend and that she just wanted to not be charged for both of our food and the guy says “well I gave her the money, just ask her for it” and hangs up when the calzone wasn’t the only thing on my bill. Sadly after years of business to Tusca Pizza, tonight will be my last time ever! 10 people for a monthly board meeting showed up for dinner & Drinks @ 6:30 as always. There was one big table and 2 small tables with customers and 4 people at the bar. The waitress told us 20-30 mins because she was too busy. People we knew just left and said their one table was clean so we moved it right next to another clean table right next to it to make room for all of us. This waitress avoided us for over an hour! Yes an hour not the 20-30 mins as we were told so after an hour I nicely walked up to the bar and asked if she would be serving us anytime soon and she than very rudely told me since we sat ourselves she was not happy or planning to be there for awhile longer so I stepped to the counter to talk to the owner Dave about the rude horrible service and he also felt her behavior was ok because we sat ourselves. Well Dave we will be holding our meeting else where and my family will no longer support your business. You could of made it better by being kind and taking care of your most patient customers with a simple drink order or a just a minute folks but nope you chose to stand up for the rude...

The pizza is good but not great. It's close to home so it's more convenient than anything else. I called ahead last evening on my way home from running errands, pizza wasn't quite ready. The owner was working the register, he tells me that they ripped my pizza when they were taking it out of the oven and they had to make me another one. No big deal.....20 minutes later they have my pizza ready and he has the nerve to charge me full price after making me wait for another pizza they messed up. I called ahead for a reason, what a cheapskate! On top of that, walking in, a lady looks back at me and let's the door close on me, walking out with pizza and a 2 liter of soda, a guy sees me behind him and won't hold the door for me. The vibe was just off, disinterested staff, weird rude patrons......I probably won't be back for a while, I'll go to another pizza place even if it's...
