Gloria's Cantina & Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Brillion

Decided to try Gloria's after looking at some reviews and being up in the Menasha area visiting friends. We took the 30 minute ride over to Brillion,WI and it was well worth it. By the way as was stated in a couple of reviews it is easy to miss as your coming into Brillion so when Google tells you your there slow down and look around. We were there around 2pm so it wasn't busy but there were several tables occupied but our party of 3 was seated immediately. While we checked out the menu our server brought us our drinks and some excellent tortilla chips and salsa and refried beans dip. We put in our orders and enjoyed our chips and salsa and bean dip while we waited for our orders to be brought out which wasn't to long and the food was excellent. We all ordered something different. I had the Enchiladas Spremas which is 4 Enchiladas of cheese,ground beef,shredded beef and chicken with rice and beans and shredded lettuce and pico on the side my companions had the Chimichanga dinner with ground beef and the Enchiladas Gloria's which is chicken Enchiladas with mole sauce both of those also came with rice and beans. All of our food was delicious and good portions everything about our late lunch here was great and the next time were in the area we will be back. Gloria and her restaurant are lovely! The restaurant is clean. The staff, including Gloria, are friendly. They offer dine-in and take-out options with outdoor seating available when the weather is decent. I've had the fish tacos plate with rice and veggies (the sauce that comes with it is delicious!) and my husband gets the tacos Mexicanos with steak and rice and refried beans as sides multiple times for take-out. Years ago, I posted all 5 stars for each category. Lately however, things have gotten pretty frustrating. The issues are- Not being open during their listed business hours. Not answering the phone. (Probably because they closed way early but didn't post it). But at least 3 of the 4 last times we've ordered ahead for a specific time, Ice cold food is all we got for our hard earned money. We love the food, but this isn't acceptable. Still we gave them the benefit of multiple chances. Always leaving a great tip - for take out. Just don't feel they care what they give you if you're not dining in....
