Upon entering, I noticed the atmosphere was quite classy and very well decorated. When I was checking in on my phone, the host at the front cleared his throat at me to follow him to a table, and I told him there would be two of us. After being seated by the pushy host, a thin girl with glasses and long black hair, pulled back in a low ponytail, came to my table and asked for my drink order. I requested ice water with lime. She returned to the table with ice water & lemon wedge, taking a deep swim in my water. She never returned to the table. In fact, after waiting for 15 minutes I got up, walked away so I could find where to order to go. I went back to the host at the front and ask where do I place a to go order and he said he’s busy with other orders right now then walked off. When he came back up to the front, he said OK I can take your order and I asked him about a menu option that includes rice, shrimp, peppers, and cheese. He pointed out to me on their menu. The dish is usually called Arroz con comarones. I told him this, and he said what is that. I said it on perfect Spanish only to have to translate it back him in English for a guy who happens to be named Agustin’ and was speaking Spanish just fine to another customer prior. After placing my order and paying he walked away. I tried to stop him to ask for my receipt because I itemize. He ignored me and kept walking. When he returned I asked for him to print my receipt when the food is ready. He said no it’s not ready yet but I’m just really busy now. And he walked off again. This guy had such a bad attitude he completely misunderstood everything I was saying him as though I was imposing on his restaurant, life, and job! It was clear I was not wanted there. I showed up dressed in a sleeveless shirt, shorts and sneakers because I’m in an 18 wheeler and need to be comfortable when I’m over the road. The restaurant is right beside the truck stop I stopped at for fuel. So to be treated like less than a human and have eyes rolled at me for requesting a receipt, then writing on the receipt that I was already there in Spanish as a item ordered that is a $.0.00 cost is quite honestly CHILDISH. It’s highly insulting and disrespectful. Yes, no home training and bad manners is FREE. But It’s less than classy and pathetic. It was as though the host was irate, NOT because I was ignored at my table for 15 minutes, but because I wanted to order my food to go. The burrito as well as shrimp and rice are watery, oversaturated with salt, and improperly served. I was unable to eat the rice dish. They must have thought it was funny that I ordered a dish native to Mexico and assumed I didn’t know what I was getting. The people in the back had stirred in white cheese dip with the rice, raw chopped bell pepper and onion, six pieces of shrimp with charred shrimp tails mixed in, frozen green peas, lima beans, and corn. This isn’t what I ordered nor was this what was on the menu. The experience is ghastly. They served it without tortillas. The burrito again, had cheese dip all over it and underneath the flour tortilla shell making it sopping wet and soggy. I don’t know what part of this experience was worse, but they handed out roses to all the women in the restaurant except me. While I’m 1000 miles away from my children working, hauling freight to keep American going, this is the treatment I received. All events have pictures. The people who are there today need to be helped & held accountable. I should have never been charged for being humiliated and disserviced. I am so shocked and beyond disgusted for being treated this way. There’s no reason why anyone should ever be made to feel such disrespect and intentional harm.

To set all doubts to rest.. This place is for REAL. Chips are ultra thin and crispy. Not greasy. Waiter was a perfect gentleman, when he noticed I was still looking over the VAST menu, he backed off for a minute and waited on others. The salsa is thin and has a touch of kick.. As it should. No salt needed to elevate it.. When the food came... My chimmy was PERFECT. Lovely chunks of pork. Not shredded out of existence. So soft, and flavorful! Perfect. The rice and beans.. Perfect. Even the pico.. Classic. Nothing more, but nothing less. This is a first class joint!! For sure! I was doubtful I would find such a place passing through this small town. So glad I stopped. Made my night!!!!

It was awesome, starting with chips and salsa, the meat is worth mentioning, they cut it very small however it was soft and ZERO fat, the didn't drown it with to many sauteed onions like most restaurants it was very refreshing trucker friendly plenty of places to park your truck next door or across the street in walking distance. The atmosphere was wonderful and the service was awesome sweet tea was even good and freshly made along with the salsa. I had the beef fajitas and grilled shrimp, the shrimp was probably the best thing I ate very fresh very tasty.

I'm here to dispel any negative reviews about Los Pinos in Brinkley. No restaurant or human being is perfect, so someone is bound to have a bad experience at some point, but this can be said of any establishment. My husband and I tried Los Pinos well over a year ago, and fell in completely in love with it. As people who have worked in many different restaurants, including Mexican food, we are hyper-critical of food, atmosphere, and service. We have also eaten at hundreds of places all over the united states (we are foodies and restaurant industry fanatics), Mexican restaurants are one of our specialties. I can tell you, honestly and without bias, Los Pinos is amazing! As I said, we've been eating there weekly for well over a year. We have not once been dissatisfied with ANYTHING. Their salsa and cheese dip are in the top 2 of our most favorites! My husband says that their burritos are one of the best things he's ever put in his mouth. They offer so many amazing dishes on their menu; all of them perfectly cooked, deliciously seasoned, and served promptly whether you dine in or take it to go. The staff is highly accommodating and they sincerely care about your experience. Until today, my husband and I have not been able to here for a couple of months...but the staff still remembered us and our order. I would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys quality authentic mexican cuisine, anyone who seeks a variety of options to please their entire family (they even have steak!). If you have not tried it, please do! If you have been there and weren't happy with your experience, I suggest you give them another chance. I don't take positive reviews lightly! I mean it, they are awesome and I will continue to give them my business. I will say just one thing to the owners of Los Pinos: NEVER change!! You're restaurant is amazing just the...

We came in around 7pm Thursday December 21st 2017 and we stood there for about 10mins a waiter walked by I asked do we seat ourselves? No response from the waiter. So we proceeded to sit ourselves and sat at a table for about 10 mins before anyone came over! Mind you they only had 2 other tables in the whole place. Finally a gentalmen came and asked what we wanted to drink. I said nothing husband said sprite so they brought 2 sprites ugh!! Waited a bit longer finally some chips and salsa came. We looked over the menu and sat at our table for about a good 30 mins before the rude waiter came to get our order. The food we received was cold and not very good tasting! We order carne asada tacos they came wrapped up in foil just meat and tortillas no topping s nothing!! Finally I had to get up and go find a Sever this young lady helped us. She finally got us some cilantro and onions but by this time all the food was cold!!! Mind you our original waiter never came back to check on us or even ask if we neeeded anythng! Very very disappointed glad we don’t live in Brinkley !!! We paid for our food and left and ended up going to KFC and getting chicken!! Which was by the way very good and the service was amazing!! Very disappointed travel customer. I sure hope your staff can get on board better and if they don’t enjoy being a waiter find him a new...
