Max pizza 1 Stafford Ave Bristol is pretty good. I'm still not sure if the burger was a frozen patty or not ... The waitress said it was fresh but idk.. the burger was tall with ingredients fried onion green pepper bacon lettuce tomato on a fresh bun I was happy to see it was next to a bed of fresh hot fries that were great but no salt and even the burger had no seasoning but over all everything was good. I was disappointed to see when a man came in to pick up his order of 6 pizzas and plates and containers none of the staff there offered to help him to the car or give him help with the door. I got up to offer help and he was so grateful. Sometimes it is the little extra that make people want to come back. I remember last time I tried to come in and ask for food for takeout the lady was so rude these women act like they really don't want to be there they just don't want to deal with the public it's sad. I walked right out. This will be my last time trying to give the place a try unfortunately. Staff wise the place needs a little uplift. Better waitresses and they will definitely make more money...

I ordered takeout so I have limited experience with the staff obviously. From that limited experience the woman who helped me was very pleasant. The restaurant itself appeared to be clean and it had a nice atmosphere. From what I do have to review fully is the food itself. I ordered a cheese pizza, nothing too extravagant, and something that can't be messed up. The pizza was prepared properly but the taste left a lot to be desired. The pie had no character, very underwhelming and had no defining flavor. The crust itself was almost as dominant tasting as the cheese and sauce due to the lack of flavor and seasoning. I had an edible pie I didn't find it disgusting but after I ate it I felt I purchased a Little Caesars pizza at twice the price. I went to a pizzeria for better pizza than pizza chain pies and I unfortunately was terribly let down. I am not familiar with the rest of their menu and I can't say that I won't return but I will not order another pie from them again...

Had a Cobb salad a few days ago and it was a disappointment. Had many in the past and they were always great! Loaded with toppings, fresh, and lots of bacon. Not this time though ! One olive in the entire salad! One! One pepper in the entire salad! One! The bacon was ridiculously thin. Like a single sheet of newspaper. Hold it up to light and you could see through it. How could you really think that is going to be acceptable? I understand the pressure of the economy and trying to keep your doors open but cutting corners with your food quality & quantity are a recipe for failure. Raise your prices a bit to offset inflation. I'd rather pay a bit more and get some decent bacon. People will forget the expense of a quality meal and come back for more. But they will not forget a disappointing meal and they will think twice about the next...

Been to the original (these pics) and Max 4 and I can tell you the quality at both is above and beyond what you'd expect. And to open Max4 with the same quality goes to show they've got IT down pat. Part of why CT's has got the best pizza in the country. Been going to the original for 20+ years, this is my 1st burger, it was slamming, veggies fresh and crunchy. You gotta put your own condiments on it though. 1st steak n cheese there too, again excellent. Comes with grilled onions and green peppers. I asked for some mayo cause I think that's what you put on a steak n cheese, right? And that set it off. My wife had a chicken cutlet sandwich that she says only the make right.

It was really bad on thier part that they booked 3 parties for the big room on the same day and time. They tried to cover up thier incompetence by saying they had our bday party booked for the day before. Which is bull. We booked the place a couple months ahead of time and Sunday and Saturday do not even SOUND alike. Aside from that, I believe they have a decent place when it's not so crowded you're inviting the other two parties to your party so you can stop knocking into them as you walk from one table to the next. At least the people were nice from the other parties and didn't mind our kids running ard like loon balls. We were celebrating a 2 year olds bday after all.
