Thirsty Horse Pub & Grill — Restaurant in Bristol

The atmosphere was very nice, food delicious, and reasonable priced for the portions you recieve. What was not enjoyable, was the hostess, who were not approachable nor friendly. Then, they wouldn't seat our party of 8, for which we had reservations for, due to one person running a little behind. Then, we were told we were unable to split the bill more than 2 ways... in a party of 8... They said this was due to the gratuity, which I understand, however, they would have gotten a larger tip had they accommodated our request. On top of all of that, one of our dishes, the chicken sandwich, was still rare and we sent it back with the request it just be taken off, since we no longer wanted to eat it after that. They brought a new one anyhow and tried to charge us even though none of that meal was eaten in the least. There was also three seperate times with in the 2 hours we were there, that a server dropped clientele orders. Great place, but they need to work on their customer service and remember...

It was my first time there. Such a friendly place! When we arrived the Green Bay football game was on & you can watch where ever you are sitting! That sound & sounds of people are at a nice level! The air is fresh in there! It's very clean & the light level is very comfortable! There are nice & different places to sit, even outdoors! A couple pool tables too! Very nice person served us! The variety of food is so interesting & was delicious! It brightened my day!...

Chill and low-key, which was nice. Pretty busy on a Friday night but not overcrowded. Good amount of places to sit and/or congregate. Staff were friendly and helpful. Four pool tables total, two being actively used by us and others, the other two pushed together to make more room for patrons.
