This past weekend my family hosted an event at Pyramid restaurant in Brockton. The restaurant owners Lily and John did not meet the expectations as per our contractual agreement. The establishment was supposed to follow a strict itinerary which did not happen. The band that we hired to perform was supposed to be served at 6pm before our guest arrived at 7pm. Instead they decided to serve the band first around 730-8pm after our guests started arriving. Our guest along with the guest of honor were supposed to be served dinner between 8-9pm, they did not serve dinner until 11pm. Totally unacceptable! Our contract with the establishment stated they would provide a list of services which included a full menu that served 150 people, servers to serve the food, a fully stocked bar with competent bartenders that were licensed. Security staff that would keep our event safe and a clean up crew that would clean up after the event ended. None of this occurred. The food was served 4 hours late and was cold, they did not provide servers to serve the food which led to some of my guests having to serve. A security team that was allowing several of their friends to come in and join our private event. Food that was cooked for our event that was never served to our guests. An under stocked bar with prices that were ridiculously expensive. And a non-functional bathroom which did not have properly locked stalls and smelled of sewage. I could continue to go on and on. There is such a long list of errors this establishment did wrong but the one thing I really want consumers to know is how incredibly unprofessional and rude the owners Lilly & John . After food service was completed, Lilly changed out of her work clothes and decided to join our private function. How are you hired to provide a service that you did not provide and then impose on the private event….Baffling. At the end of the night we were wrapping up my mothers cake , we asked Lily simply if she had any tape her response in a nasty tone was “ I don’t know, this is not an office” needless to say my sisters and I were less than happy and extremely appalled by her response . She is the worst. Please do not patron this business as it is a complete rip off and a scam! And the food honestly was...
Read moreMy husband and I bought tickets on event Brite to attend an event there. It was our first time there and didn't know what to expect. We didn't buy VIP tickets but didn't expect to stand up the entire time that we are there either. So I asked to speak to the manager and explained that since it didn't mention on line that it is standing room only if not VIP, I expected to sit somewhere. He did sit us at a table. There were to be 2 performances that night, but the first one was a no show. While waiting for Roody Roodboy to perform, a fight broke out in front of our table. By that time, there was a good crowd waiting. That was about 11:30pm. So I spoke to the owner, John, again and told him that this isn't our vibe, and if there's fighting and Roody wasn't there, we're leaving. He asked me, very professionally, to please stay. So I told him, my only reason for being here is for Roody. He told me that Roody was on his way. I decided to wait since I'd been there since 9:30. At 12:30, John came to us and asked us to follow him. We did so. He led us to the VIP section and we were so close to the stage, I was able to see Roody so clear. He even introduced us to his wife Lily and we exchange phone numbers. She even gave me the opportunity of a photo opp with an artist that I admire. Talk about doing it right. John knew we wouldn't enjoy our night where we were seated so he moved us up so I can see my artist upclose. His wife would come every so often to check on me to see how it was going. John and Lily, we are entire grateful and appreciative. Your action has gained you a client for life. The club scene is not ours but when you have a show, we will be there.
My opportunities for you: even though you had a lot of security, they were not at each corner of the place to have eyes on everyone. Hence the reason it took time to break up the fight. Second, keep your audience up to date with what's happening. We weren't told that the first performer wouldn't be there until the end.

Read moreI am compelled to warn others about my dismal experience at Pyramid Restaurant, driven by the unprofessionalism of the owners. My friends and I engaged with this establishment, only to encounter a severe lack of professionalism and courtesy, particularly from the owner and his wife, who are at the heart of the issues.
Not only were they rude, but they also engaged in deceptive practices, scamming my friends out of money rightfully owed for services provided. Despite clear agreements, they failed to make payments, showing a blatant disregard for ethical business practices.
This behavior is not only disheartening but also alarming, especially coming from the top leadership of the restaurant. I urge potential patrons and service providers to think twice before dealing with Pyramid Restaurant. The lack of integrity displayed by the management here is a red flag that...
