This is not only the absolute worst Wendy's I've ever been to in my entire life, but it's the worst drive thru in general that I've ever had the misfortune of going through. I got in lime at 1:20AM, and there were 4 cars in front of me. Normally, if it were daytime it would take only a few minutes to get through the line, but since it was nighttime, I expected to maybe be in line for 10 minutes. What i didn't expect was to wait 32 minutes for my order to be filled. Yes, 32 minutes. That's longer than it takes to get my food at a sit down restaurant. To start with, it took 20 minutes just to get to the window. As I went to order, the dude taking my order told me to wait just a sec, so I waited....and waited....and waited. 6 minutes and 40 seconds later he finally takes my order. Yes, I sat in front of the speaker for almost 7 minutes. Now, normally when you get up to the window you wait a minute or two at the most to get the food. But nope, not here. I waited another 6 minutes in front of the window for my food to come. There were 2 guys behind the window. One was pouring drinks for the other car behind me, while the other was just standing there. One minute, two, three, four, five, SIX MORE MINUTES IN FRONT OF THE PICKUP WINDOW TO GET MY FOOD. Are you kidding me? I've never seen anything like that in my life. Half the cars waiting in line, just got outt of line and sped off. Literally, from the speaker to the time I got my food took 13 minutes, AFTER I had already waited in line for 19 minutes for 4 cars to get their orders. This is completely unacceptable. Not only am I never going back there ever again, but I'm going to call and report this to the manager/owner. Read moreIn fairness I have to say I think the quality of service & food fluctuates between a low 2 & a high 4 stars (almost a 5 but can't give a false expectation because of the questionably sporadic experiences) I really wish ppl would hold them accountable for cold, dry, &/or sometimes inedible food not to mention the rude customer service. I can say the days that food was unacceptable there happened to be a few great young men & women working so I felt bad especially when it was busy. The times when its slow & we recieved rock hard nuggets (my dog snubbed the one my son dropped we didnt blame him lol) & ice cold possibly reheated fries I find these times really annoying because theres no excuse for serving this to customers. If managment is telling employees to sell it anyway then shame on them. I find it hard to believe an employee would serve this knowing they are the ones customers are going to complain too or about. Owner needs to really rethink philosophy of saving a dollar....its going to cost business. We have decided to give it 2 more chances. 1 on a slow night & 1 on a busy night. Hopefully they do well because we like Wendy's as a choice for fast food. Idk what's up with them but I'm not happy lately with the whole experience. Oak st Wendy's has almost always been 4-5 stars so I may have to give up being loyal to my local businesses if the same courtesy isnt given to the very ppl that keep them in business. My opinion is if you like Wendy's go to Oak st location for GREAT SERVICE & the kind of food you expect. Read moreHaving grown up near this place I've had my variety of experiences but tonight is simply just the straw that broke the camel's back. It's is a little sad because it's not fair I didn't write a 5 star for all the years of fast food and quick friendly service, and that it may take a bad review and a hope and a prayer that things turn around, for them to. But for years now ( atleast 5) drive thru at night is ridiculous!. I just waited in line for 35 minutes to get 2 small vanilla frostys and they had no vanilla..neither does 106.. I was there last night and waited 15 min and their was only 1 car Infront of me ( they were making him wait ). So I order 2 small Chocolate frostys. No small either . So I order 2 medium.. but as I'm sitting in line for few minutes to get to the window I just ask the obvious. What does that even mean you don't have small? No small cups. So without trying to sound sarcastic I asked if I could just get "smalls" in " medium " cups. She did it and she wasn't rude.. per day.. but body language and no " your welcome" or anything when I thanked her 3 times for the silly inconvenience. But, I wasn't buying two flavors bigger than I wanted spending more than I wanted to not get what I even wanted, and taking 35 min to do. Silly.Firstt world. First...
