Hey yall!!! Today 1/31/25 I placed a to-go order they were short staffed because they had people call in which is normal but both the owner and his wife were there making it happen anyway! But the two young ladies that did show were trying there absolute hardest which was amazing to see they all stepped up! But the young lady that took care of me went above and beyond even under pressure to take care of me and I didn’t even get her name 😞 I told her I was treating myself cause it’s just been a rough day so I needed chocolate and ice cream trying to make light of my rough day we giggled and I left with my food. The people who work there are nice and accommodating; unfortunately we had a very bad experience with the food. On Saturday, June the 14th 2025; we ordered a fish sandwich and a basic BBQ sandwich, both with french fries and coleslaw. After consuming a portion of our food we discovered living MAGGOTS in the ketchup. The person I assume was the manager offered to make us new dishes, but we politely declined and left the establishment. I struggled with making this post because I don't want to harm a business, but I don't want someone to fall ill knowing that it could have been prevented. Wife had the country fried steak and mash potatoes and they were horrible. I had the baby back ribs and they were dry with absolutely no rub with horrible coleslaw and old corn. Here’s how you know this restaurant has little hope, we ordered a simple appetizer of mozzarella sticks and they were over done and horrible . It’s ashame , it’s a great looking restaurant with a clueless chef that told me he would rather put ribs in an oven instead of a smoker. This is a ………… bbq pit ?????????
