Runza Restaurant — Restaurant in Broken Bow

I don't actually come to Runza for the Runza. They have the best burgers and chili in town. Their fries are also the hands down best. They are crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside like a great fry should be. They are salted perfectly and at the right time, right out of the fryer. They don't get a weird taste when they are cold like other places. They taste like really good fried potatoes! The burger patties are cooked to perfection and juicy. They don't smash the juice out of them like other places. They come with mustard and ketchup pickle and onion. I prefer them with mayo and hold the mustard. Cheese and bacon are also available. Great friendly and fast service. The iced tea always tastes fresh and clean. If it doesn't I will walk out of a restaurant as iced is a good gauge of the cleanliness of a restaurant. They have really good soft serve ice cream and you can get the chocolate vanilla twist! My only complaint is they don't serve their...

A couple of us stopped by on our way to men's retreat for a good old Nebraska treat of a Runza. We we're not disappointed. We had onion rings in place of our fries, of course, and they were excellent as well. Everything was hot, fresh, and excellent. We had a little issue with one of the orders receiving fries instead of rings. As we were walking up to the counter to fix it the employee was headed our way as they had realized their mistake. We don't have any Runza's in Minnesota, but decided to stop here since it was on our roadtrip to CO. Overall, it was pretty good. The service was awesome. The food and atmosphere were both pretty decent. I wouldn't turn down going again, but wouldn't go out of my way for one.
