R.P. McMurphy's — Restaurant in Brookfield Township

Maybe it was just this particular Saturday, but we decided to visit McMurphys just for old times sake. Immediately when walking in, you have noticed that every male to ever appear on the Peoples Court and were granted a divorce, was there. There were only 16 total people there, and of the 16, 4 of them were female. All 4 females had these gentlemen huddled over them as if primal instincts had made a fashionable comeback, and they were about to get knocked in the head, and dragged back to one of their caves. The bartender, (which was included in the count of 4 women) came out from behind the bar several times to clean up some of the tables, and was very efficient at her job. This is why I gave this place 2 stars, if it wasnt for her, this place would have had none. However, when she did come out from behind the bar, you couldnt help but notice, she was wearing a pair of Ohio State slippers! I'm not a safety inspector or on the health board, but I would like to just think that this may be a safety hazard. The interior looks outdated, but it is a dive bar, a little expected. Hopefully this summer, we can re-visit this place and the atmosphere will be a little less off-putting. Maybe there wont be any predators lurking around. But for now, I think this McMurphys has fallen just as a lot of establishments...

Well after our GPS led us astray we finally found RP McMurphys and we are glad we did. The food was fabulasus and we most certainly will be back. We ordered the butterfly shrimp and hot 8 huge shrimps. I mean huge. They were so good and they have the most amazing fries. They are kind of like a fair fry but they are crispy a well...just divine. We also ordered the beer battered cod with fries. The fish was so tasty and of course the fries delish. Please support them.. They have fabulous food and fabulous people...

Great local bar serving a nice selection of bottled and draught beer. Liquor selection has most anything you could think of ordering. Food options are many and you can view the menu on Facebook if interested. Prices are VERY reasonable and food is good. Note that they are planning on opening Sunday's in the near future. You can play pool or darts, there's a TV for your entertainment and you can dine in or outdoors on their patio. Come to where the...
