Sharing the below is long overdue. This is what I sent in regards to our Mother’s Day experience and never heard back:
I am writing in regards to an experience we had a few weeks ago on Mother’s Day. My husband, parents, and grandmother have dined at your restaurant for a long time and have even ordered quite a bit of carry out for my grandfathers 90th birthday last year. We really enjoy your food and typically enjoy the service. We dined on Mother’s Day for the BOGO, only to realize that it wasn’t available that day. No worries, we each ordered a pasta and an additional pizza for the table anyway. It took a little while for our waitress to take our order (naturally, my grandmother grew very impatient) but we waited anyway. After placing our order and receiving our food, we were missing a few things but were able to get our waitress’s attention and she took care of that. We also struggled getting refills. Overall though, nothing to change our mind on enjoying the restaurant.
When the waitress took my mom, dad, and grandma’s plates to box up, she dropped my moms pasta and everyone yelled opa and we had a little “oh no” but we knew the kitchen would just remake her portion (1/2 of her pasta plus her garlic bread). When she returned with the boxed up food (my dad’s garlic bread he saved for his leftovers was missing but we didn’t notice until we got home), she brought a little dessert sampler for the whole table to share and proceeded to pass out spoons to everyone to dig in. This was fine until we realized my mom was not getting her food remade. Then none of us wanted to eat the dessert because technically my mom was still paying for it. In addition, we already had 2 cakes made for Mother’s Day that we were planning on going home to eat after this lunch so the last thing we needed was dessert. My husband has managed several Italian restaurants and was very confused on how the situation was being handled.
It was very busy so we didn’t make a fuss and just left. We mentioned several times throughout the meal how much we enjoyed dining at your restaurant but left feeling like never coming back. The end to the meal left quite a damper on our holiday.
I’m writing all this to say I hope you will consider providing a voucher or coupon for another meal for my mom so we can dine with you again. Of all the days for this to happen, I hated to see the disappointment on my moms face when she found out she wasn’t getting the half of her meal she saved to eat the next day, on Mother’s Day. And after paying full price, we were even more dissatisfied.
I am letting you know I am dissatisfied and am hoping you would consider resolving my concern about the way our situation was handled before it comes to me posting a negative review on multiple sites.
Thank you for reading and I hope to...

I drive by this place daily, and finally stopped in for dinner with a friend for their fish fry. Disappointment EVERY step of the way. First off, no one was standing at the host podium. A waitress and what appeared to be a patron/regular we having an emotional moment of some sort. No bother, I wasn't in a hurry, and I don't know what they could be gong through, but after it calmed down AND we made eye contact, not even a, "someone will be right with you." We stood around confused and unhelped for a little less than 4 minutes, and there were people queuing up behind us. Finally, what was obviously a manager came up to the podium and just stared at me. No smile, no greeting, just a blank stare. "Two please." Followed by more silence from him as he looked around the room and then just walked away! Didn't ask to follow or even a Goddamn wave over. Fine... I just wanted to eat, but I think the thing that actually made me the angriest was the way this grown man made kissy noises (kind of like if you were calling a cat but less clicky) at one of the bus/water boys. I hope for the sake of those kids that they find new jobs. Later, we would see this manager walking around holding a cigarette and lighter just out in the dining room talking to a table by the music entertainment before heading out the FRONT door to smoke. That's disgusting and poor image in my opinion.
There was one good thing any this whole night: the waiter. He was nice and friendly and helpful and funny. He's too good for this place.
So we order drinks and they take a bit. We order our fish fry. And. Wait. Forever. There was a party of twelve or something, but even after that got their food we were still waiting a long time. When we finally got it, I laughed out loud. Two of the tiniest fish I've ever seen, the smallest portion of the oldest, coldest, nastiest French fries I've ever had, and I had to ask to receive the tarter sauce and coleslaw that is supposed to be included with the meal. Sauce okay and house made. Coleslaw sub par, at best. I want to re-emphasize just how gross these fries were: I'm confident in saying, worst in the whole UNIVERSE. For eleven dollars it was a Goddamn joke. For what I can get for even less at "lower quality" places compared to this... Ridiculous. And then the fish was less than average.
There are better fish fry for less money elsewhere. There are better elsewhere for thesame and all you can eat.
Don't. Go.. Here. Listen to...
Read moreWe had lunch with another couple at Vino Cappuccino today. While the food and outdoor covered patio atmosphere were both excellent, the overall experience was spoiled by the service and pacing of our meal. Let me begin by saying the restaurant was NOT busy. On the patio where we were seated, there was our table of 4, a table of 2, and toward the end of our meal, another table of 2. Inside there were perhaps a half dozen occupied tables, all with small groups of 2 and 4. We arrived at 11:30 and were promptly seated by the man who would be our server, Silkie. He offered a bare-bones greeting, dropped off menus, and disappeared for 10 minutes before coming back to ask us for our drink order. 10 minutes later, our 4 iced teas arrived at the table and he asked us what we wanted to order: 3 salads and the avocado toast special. 30 minutes later, our food finally arrived at our table. In all fairness, it was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented (see attached images of two of the salads - a Caesar with grilled salmon and a pear salad). We had been there for 50 minutes at this point and were done eating in another 20 minutes. It's now 12:40. Silkie asked us if we would like to check out and subsequently brought us our bill, which sat on our table for another 10 minutes before he came back to collect our cards and run the bill. The final timestamp on our receipt for this was 12:57. An hour and a half for a lunch experience consisting of iced teas, salads and avocado toast is completely unacceptable. Luckily, we were dining with friends we hadn't seen in quite a while, so we had plenty to catch up on to occupy the dead space. If that were not the case, we would have canceled our orders and left. Please encourage all of your staff to provide a welcoming, engaging and efficient experience for your guests. With higher prices for eating out these days come higher expectations from your customers. The food quality does not disappoint in the slightest. Don't let lackluster service detract from...
