Terrible Experience with Caribou Coffee ā Beware! Iām beyond frustrated with Caribou Coffee. They have a tendency to charge customersā accounts without providing any receipts. Their app is a nightmare ā it's full of glitches that result in money being removed from your account without your authorization. To make matters worse, when I reached out to their support team to address the issue, they outright refused to issue any refund. This is completely unacceptable and shows a clear lack of care for their customers, as well as a disregard for ethical business practices. Iāve been a long-time customer, but Iām leaving because they refused to refund the $16 they essentially stole from me. Iām shocked that they would rather lose a loyal customer over such a small amount. Companies spend millions on marketing to attract customers, yet Caribou Coffee seems indifferent to keeping the ones they already have. Their customer support team clearly lacks business acumen. Any knowledgeable team would assess whether itās worth losing a customer over $16. Terrible customer support. Iāve been a big supporter due to āhome-townā company image, but if this multi-billion-dollar company aggressively refuses to issue a simple refund, I see no reason to continue...

Caribou, this is your corporate store, you should expect more from your employees in this location than any other. It seems that is not the case. Time and again I've been disappointed but Saturday took the cake.
I stopped by to order my large drink and receive $1 off, as my text and email stated. Upon checking in I was informed that I did not have the coupon on my account. Alicia (sp?) said there was nothing she could do, even after showing her the text and email. Upon asking for a manager she said she was the manager today - she would call the "problem" in to corporate. The promo was a weekend promo. A Monday morning response would not be helpful. She refused to do anything to honor the discount because it would be a red flag and she would get in trouble.
This is not in line with your culture or commitment to guests. The disappointing experience at your HQ store on Saturday was the last for me at this store.
If the employees are more concerned about getting in trouble than providing a satisfying guest experience then it is time for a management team that believes in the Caribou culture...
