Ryan Lake Park — Attraction in Minneapolis

A quaint little park. Not much beyond a single bench on a small paved patio and a dock. The dock is showing its age with very old wood ; some with fungus growth. It has gotten a few new HT studs. Lots of weeds so not a place to swim, and only caught small pan fish, nothing bigger then the palm of my hand. Fun place for kids, to catch small fish. Train line is nearby so it can be a little noisy...

If you live close like really close this might be a nice place to hang out. I love Minneapolis parks but this one does not have much to offer. No trails no playground. They do have a small fishing pier. But it is in such shallow water and no signs of life anyplace near the dock. But if you live in walking distance it's...

Ryan Lake Park is a rather small out of the way park that doesn't really have much in the way of facilities, but it is a very nice place to go and relax or to just forget about life...
