Pappy's — Restaurant in Brooklyn Center

First off let me say that the food is good but I will not be back. Customer service is terrible!!!So if you look at the prices on the board, don’t expect to pay that amount because they don’t tell you that the price is different until you have already been charged. The cashier got my order wrong. She said that she didn’t hear me order the wings and gizzards combo, just gizzards but I said it at least 3x’s. So when I went back to ask her about it, she was very rude with handling the situation. That’s when I found out that the prices were different than what they charge you. I had a total of 3 orders and I even repeated the order. Then she had the nerve to not want to give me the cup for my fountain drink that I was charged for. (By the way don’t wasn’t your money on a drink because it tastes like water. Don’t say I didn’t warn you) So after waiting for 25 minutes and door dash coming and going multiple times. I go stand where the sign says pick up order to wait for my food. I’m standing there waiting and the old short man tells me that I cannot stand there, I ask him why, he says because the sign says pick up order and I said I am waiting for my pick up order and I have been waiting for over 30 minutes to pick it up. So he argues with me about moving, I don’t and he says do you want to come back here and get your food, I said yes. He waives me off and I say you can refund me money, he didn’t respond. Then my order magically was done. He was very rude and disrespectful. For the record, all this time no one is waiting to pick up an order besides the people that I was with) Another customer came in to pick up his food and heard us. The customer said that the guy is always like that, he always wants to argue with somebody. And that he has had words with him as well. He is very rude and unprofessional as well as the cashier. I’m glad that I am just visiting but while I am here he will not get any more...

Great food. Quickly cooked/prepared for our take out orders. The only issue i had was with the order taker/cashier. She didn't have a clue about what was on the menu or answering our questions about items on the menu with what it is or how it's prepaired, what comes with the items as a side item, ect...had to ask the cook for answers (I feel should already have been learned by the employee after the hiring practices/qualifications for the job, ect..). Very friendly and tried her best, but for a newer business, not knowing what's on the menus or anything about the items, got frustrating for us alittle. We were first timers to the place ourselves and didn't know anything about the food/menu items ourselves, but for the front order taker to be in the same situation as us, just made the process take longer. She just lacked the/ training and I'm sure over time, she'll be a top employee there. Otherwise, 4.75 stars of 5...

Came here for the first time as I was super hungry, didn’t know what to get since they have a huge menu. Cashier was awesome as he gave me some of the best choices and I chose the Philly Cheesesteak with fries! I have to say, this place is not only good but they make everything after you order so it’s fresh. The serving sizes are very generous, the staff is awesome and the food is like no other. When I review a place, I go back another day just to see if it’s the same experience or if I was just hungry at the time. I went back 3 days later, had the chicken Philly and what can I say, both times I’ve been here, it’s a unforgettable experience. I highly recommend Pappys to anyone in the mood for mouth watering food and fresh selections! I’ll be back soon, Keep up the great...
