China Bowl Chow Mein — Restaurant in Brooklyn Park

We tried china bowl because you can order online, which we tend to appreciate for its ease of use. The first night they forgot to deliver our food until we called after over an hour waiting. After another half hour the food was delivered but the orange chicken was obviously reheated by pouring extra sauce on it causing it to be super soggy and literally drowning in it. However, the flavor is there. The lo mein is tasty and the orange sauce was nice and tangy. We thought we would try again during an afternoon on a weekday so as to avoid any busy times. Ordered at 2:30pm on a Monday and it took over an hour to be delivered (we are a 9 minute drive away) and this time they got the order incorrect. Called them up and they said they would bring the missing entree later today after “maybe another hour.” We actually got the entree delivered while I’m writing this and within 30ish minutes of calling them. I want to like this place because the flavor is good but they have the most inconsistent delivery of any restaurant we’ve ever ordered from so far. Maybe order take out in store instead and make sure everything is good to go before leaving to make up for these weird delivery issues. Everyone has been apologetic and friendly which I appreciate as well.

Wonderful Suprise! After getting my nails done yesterday I thought I'd try this restaurant.... I ordered Pork Mei Fun, Chicken Fried Rice, Beef with Green Pepper & Chicken Noodle Soup to take home.... It was ALL wonderful! I am not a fan of the type of noodles used in the soup; however, the broth was flavorful and there were REAL vegetables in the soup as well... The rest was awesome, better than I expected! I am saddened by the few nasty reviews I've read on here as their portions are standard and the flavor, freshness and varying tastes were evident! This is a small business, not some major conglomerate and while I think negatives should be reported, give the business a chance to rectify it before blasting a hard working group! I will be back and everyone in my household is going to consider this less than 3 miles from our home gem. Had the Sesame Chicken, Chick Wild Rice, Chick Lo Mein, Cream cheese Won-tons and Spring rolls. Lo Mein noodles were surprisingly good & substantial- not the stringy cup o' soup type noodles most everyone else seems to use. Everything was delicious and generous, but did not care for the lettuce wraps disguised as spring rolls. They were just shredded lettuce. Shrimp was included along the sides of the rolls, but all was without any flavor and very cold. Although given that they were only lettuce, I would not have wanted warm. Have had Spring Rolls at other places where they are very similar to an egg/veggie roll. Will not order these again here.
