La Casa Crimson — Restaurant in Brookwood

So my girl and business associate Stephanie and I absolutely 💯 LOVED this place! We sat outside on the patio and enjoyed some delicious La Casa crimson nachos and a 🍹Margarita! Whoops! What’s out for those margaritas! Be sure to get some water 💦 with lemon 🍋 … The cheese dip is excellent but only get the fresh chopped jalapeños if you want your mouth to be on 🔥 fire! I think they my pickle their own jalapeños, sliced for nachos… Those were really good. We sat out on the patio and it was a wonderful early fall. Chris cool evening and we even socialized a little bit with another couple and a family out on the patio… The next time we go, we’re going to have the thing that comes in the pineapple that looked really really good in the family next to us had it, but we were already too full from our nachos and salsa and chips which are all wonderful by the way and the service is even better. We frequent Mexican restaurants a lot and La Casa Crimson was the best experience our family has had. Ambiance - Very pleasant. The decor was clean and fresh, and sitting next to the fireplace was a great backdrop to eat and talk. Service - Great. Both our waitress and the manager were courteous and attentive (i.e. no need to ask for drink refills or the check). Food - Tasted great. Chips were crisp and salty, salsa had a good texture and just enough spice. The beer came with a frosted glass. Cheese dip, quesadilla, steak fajitas were all flavored well.. And the fried ice cream was decadent - I'd go back just for this. Price - Very reasonable. Prices were comparable to most dine ins.

Decided to give this place another try after 6 years because last time the food was absolutely disgusting. This time you could actually eat it but the chips tasted like they were old and the tortilla bread tasted old too and dry and mine was covered in cheese sauce . The only reason it is somewhat cheap is because they don't serve no side even at dinner. I will be driving the extra distance to go to Chabelys in Cottondale where they know how to make Mexican food tastes good. I think the bar is the only reason...
