Great place!

The Grand Pad Thai is quite good, and the Panang Curry is wonderful: crisp vegetables, copious meat, and a sauce that is to die for – just mouthwateringly good. I’m guessing the Street Pad Thai is good, too. They also have the usual three Thai curries – red, green, panang – a variety of ramen bowls, appetizers, etc. The owner told me she uses Pink Himalayan salt – not much, a lot isn’t needed – because it enhances the flavor.

The service is attentive and knowledgeable, as it should be right now, since the only waitress is the owner herself. They’re hiring, interviewing people now.

The dƩcor is a step above others in that strip center. It features black-and-white murals of Bangkok and typical Thai street things (tuk-tuk, food vendor, etc.; see pictures.)

I liked that they provided metal chop sticks (on request for ā€œchop sticksā€), and with the Pad Thai had an array of four seasonings served with tiny lades with each meal: sugar, soy sauce, dry chili powder, and chili oil. (See pic for chopsticks and seasonings.) The chili oil should be used only if you are a spice fan, but is delicious.

Right now, it’s pricey for lunch. The owner told me, though, that they will be adding a lunch menu soon, probably at the Grand Opening in a month or so (say, by 1/31/23). Right now they’re in a soft opening phase.

Selfishly, I hope everybody goes there because I want it to succeed! It’s the only place near me (meaning all of Broomfield & surroundings) that has good Pad Thai, and I’ve been missing it. (I also discovered I was missing that Panang curry! So good.) So-called ā€œpan Asianā€ restaurants – that do American Chinese, Thai, Sushi, etc. – just don’t cut it.

I’m that classic ā€œI don’t usually postā€ person but literally HAD to for this place! First of all, the woman there is THE nicest person I think I have ever met! Like true Mr. Rogers/Betty White vibes (not to say she’s old but you get it). I went as a solo diner so didn’t go crazy in terms of ordering a bunch of things but went with the dumplings and pad see ew.

Dumplings - for being fried, it’s far from feeling greasy in any way. It still has a lighter feel to it and I could’ve easily eaten 20 of them.

Pad see ew - often I feel like a lot of other places drown and oversaturate their dishes in sauce or oil. Once again, there’s a delightful lightness to their dishes while also still providing a bountiful amount for you to take home.

In true Tik Tok/Keith Lee style I’d give the following rating:

Customer service - 10/10: cannot say it enough, the woman there is beyond the sweetest human on this planet! Her friendly disposition and genuine care if you’re having a pleasant dining experience makes you feel like you’re in her home and she just wants to make sure you’re happy. Food - 9/10: food is still nothing short of amazing, I’m just interested to see what additional flavors and dishes she’ll be coming up within the coming of months Ability to hold a large crowd - 6/10 - the place is a little smaller with maybe 10ish tables but from what I’ve seen on other reviews, she’s equally accommodating with take out

I encourage all to give this place a try if they’re in the area! I know she’ll be rolling out a larger menu soon...

Our wish has finally been granted and there is an awesome Thai restaurant in Broomfield/Westminster area! We came here twice in three days and we will probably make a habit of it. The ladies that work here are so lovely & welcoming and super fun to chat with. The dishes are seriously excellent! The pad Thai was the closest we’ve had to the ones from our visit to Thailand. Pad Thai is not supposed to be bright red or orange. If it is, you can bet that the restaurant is taking shortcuts on ingredients. Bangkok Ave’s pad Thai was perfectly prepared with noodles that had just a little bit of bite -not mushy at all - and a light sauce (not orange) that was a little bit sticky, a little bit tangy, and total perfection. The Panang curry was also out of this world. We love that pepper flakes and pepper oil are brought to the table so you can season your dish to your liking.

Stop into Bangkok Ave and have an awesome meal. It will be your new...

Wow, what a surprise... This cute little casual restaurant in a suburban strip mall doesn't seems like it would be much from the outside. The food was absolutely wonderful though! The staff was super friendly and helpful with menu questions. Our waitress was so sweet and friendly. I had the Grand Pad Thai which was almost a problem... It's so delicious I'm going to crave it all the time. I'm not kidding, this is probably the best Pad Thai I've ever eaten and I've been to dozens of Thai restaurants over the years. Rich, tangy, really well balanced. My partner had the green curry which was also wonderful. Fresh, complex, lots of basil and fresh veggies. You can tell they use really good quality ingredients and prepare everything the way it should be done. Believe the reviews. This place is awesome and I'll be back for sure.
