I understand that this is a fast food restaurant, but this store definitely makes the Wendy’s name look bad. Tonight I went through the drive thru to pick up food, and the process went smoothly. I pulled over to check the food and noticed that the “plain” hamburger was a plain cheeseburger, yet the receipt was right. At this point the drive thru line was 5 cars deep, so I went inside. I received the food from the expeditor at 6:58pm in the drive thru, and walked inside at 7:00 to find everyone running around looking confused. The people in line said they were there a few minutes, and weren’t helped yet, so I should go first. From 7-7:15, I received two more incorrect burgers (same as before). I finally asked how hard it can be when I have the receipt, and have verbally explained that a “plain hamburger” means meat and bun. After 15 minutes, I finally got the right burger, and I said now that the rest of my order is cold, what should I do? The employee shrugged, and could care less. Even the manager was useless in realizing that along with my botched order was another patron who had come up three times because she kept receiving the wrong hamburger, as well. My family wound up throwing the food out thanks to everything being ice cold, as I stated. This is not the first time this location has had problems, and yet management and the owner have done nothing about it. I'm a delivery driver, and I had the pleasure of having to drive 10 miles to deliver from here, just for it to end up being a waste of my time. Firstly, I arrive and it's not very busy at all. So I park my car, turn it off, and walk up to find that their front doors are OF COURSE locked. So I enter the drive-thru just to wait and wait, to finally be told that they "never received an order." So I go park and have a Grubhub representative call the store to have them remake the order, and THEY HUNG UP ON THE REPRESENTATIVE. They hung up on her and refused to answer any more of her calls. I'm going to rant here, but I bet you the majority of staff at this store is under 25 and it shows. Firstly, this is a tiny little Wendys out in the middle of nowhere. I don't care how "understaffed" you claim to be, surely you can have the dining room open. It's not that busy, you aren't in Denver. I downright refuse to deliver from fast food places for that reason. Ever since the pandemic these places just abuse their drive-thru, and it's LAZY. OPEN THE DINING HALL. Read moreThis morning we visited this location and apparently they were not patient enough to take our order at the drive-thru the time was 10 minutes to 9:00a.m they were clearly open. I then drove up to the window waited 10 more minutes for the managerto even walk up to the window and ignore our presence for at least 3 minutes and then proceeded to tell us they don't take orders through the window and that we have to drive around and go through the drive-thru again and order. After all that was said and done we get our food and this manager immediately shuts the window and turns around before we could even ask for a ketchup I had to wait another 5 minutes for him to come back .His parents must be the owners because I don't see anybody professional making him a manager. Little eddie Haskal needs to take some hospitality college courses before he runs this store...
