I visited Green Coffee Co. a few days ago and was recommended a banana matcha drink by the owner. My cousin and I both tried it & it was bitter, bland, and honestly not drinkable.I politely asked if I could switch it out for another drink (not a refund—just a different drink). By that point, the owner had already left, so I explained the situation to the barista on duty. She was kind, professional, and did her best to help. She even called the owner, but the owner said they couldn’t do anything. No offer to replace the drink, no flexibility, no concern.The barista deserves credit for trying her best and being respectful. Unfortunately, the same can’t be said about the owner, whose attitude and lack of customer care were disappointing, the shop is well-decorated and some of the other drinks have been good,but customer service should always come first. My partner and I decided to try this coffee shop since it’s fairly new. I got a matcha latte (not pictured) and my partner got a cinnamon dolce latte. We also decided to try a cookie, we had asked for a Nutella filled cookie but what we got was not what we had asked for so we were off to a bad start. My partner and I both liked the taste of our drinks but the service was not worth what we had paid for. The cookie didn’t seem to taste all that great either. I had gone for a couple coffees and they honestly left a lot to be desired. It took around 15-20 minutes to get my order, and both lattes tasted very unflavorful. Like they had no sweetener or anything. It tasted like just espresso and milk. Maybe I should’ve asked for more sweetener but I had ordered a pistacho latte and couldn’t taste the pistacho at all. And my bf had ordered the honey delight latte and again, no sweetener and couldn’t taste the honey either. Also their prices are a bit steep… ngl.
