Great little Mexican cafe that prides itself on cooking down-home traditional Tex-Mex food from scratch. Even the corn and flour tortillas are real, not factory-made. Don’t let the modest front exterior fool you: This neat cafe has a bustling atmosphere with pleasant, attentive waitresses who know everything about the food selections. The grilled chicken breast was dry and tough, and the rice had a few "crunchy" bits in it. Corn chips were average. The quesadillas were good. All in all, I was dissatisfied with my lunch here. Maybe I should have ordered a traditional Mexican dish. The food on neighboring tables looked good. If I'm in the area again, I'll try it again and order something different. First time coming her, I was very impressed. The fajita nortenio was SO SO good! Prices are on the higher side which I wasn't to happy about. Waiter wasn't the best had to always reach out so she could give us what we needed. But food...
