RA Sushi Bar Express — Restaurant in Brownsville

My experience here was awful, I order with a young man with short dark hair (I didn't see any name tag) and he treated me, my friends, and family rudely and mocked us when at the 25 minute mark I asked if our food would be ready soon. He claimed other people ordered before us, but I watched as their orders had already been finished and served. He also mocked the friend I was eating with for being short $1.22 and told her it "wasn't his problem" with a self-righteous smirk, which is an outrageous way for an employee to respond to a real life customer. He had no way of knowing my friends financial situation, such as if it was only an issue with that particular card, or if my friend had just had just gone through something horrible and costly. Plus my friend did have enough money! And only needed to transfer money over to the correct card. He just assumed and chose to be hateful and cruel. On top of that there was cross-contamination of another friend's allergen on his sushi roll that we lucky saw in time. But the fact we made it extra clear that he was allergic, and they couldn't make sure to keep a safe environment for him? Enraging. Overall this was such an unpleasant experience I will not be returing again when I could go somewhere else and be treating kindly and with human decency. I have no issue waiting for my food, quality takes time, but the way that worker treated us has ensured I will actively warn and discourage others from eating here.
