Had to share a bad service experience here from Saturday night. Was at the barrel tables by the back wall and waiter came and offered to take drink order, I ordered a ranch water and waited and waited, nothing. I finally went to the bar and ordered there myself. When I got back to my friends, turns out she had brought a drink but dropped if off at one of the other tables and not even given it to me. The mosquitos were so bad that we ended up leaving early, I had only had about half of my drink. I decide to stay but walked some friends to their car to say goodbye, maybe for 5 min tops. When I got back the tables had been wiped clean, all drinks were gone. Checked my bank the next day and, you guessed it, I was charged $25 for only getting to drink one half of a ranch water. If you like bad service, overpriced drinks, loud subpar music, and lots of mosquitos then broken sprocket is the...

Friday evening: We decided to check out this lively and colorful, outdoor venue with live music and food courts (It had been a few years since going there). Entertainment at 8 was by the Boarder Soul Band. This is a true Valley band and excellent as always. There was only one beer vendor and the craft can beer was $6. Suggestion for the Future: It was disappointing that draft beer was not available or a local beer from The Valley. I did not see any local microbrewery or winery represented on site either. The food choices appeared to be very limited and few people were eating. Unfortunately, only a few people danced. Folks in Brownsville don’t dance unless it’s a wedding, or...

We need more community-centric establishments like The Broken Sprocket. The atmosphere is super chill, it's a great place to unwind, and everyone I meet has a smile on their face (staff and locals).

The Sprocket has some of the best local food you can get in the valley. I'm all about Habanero's blackened fish tacos and anything on the menu at Mike's Come and Eat It Texas BBQ. I'm still working my way around to the other food trucks and from what I've tried it's all tasty.

The beer and wine garden has a great selection---there's always something new to try. Tony and the gang are doing it right!

I highly recommend you come...

Went for a pop punk night & it was pretty cool! I think the only thing would be that I wish more of the food trucks were open a little later so there’d be more of a variety (we got there around 10p on a thursday & there was only like two open). I totally understand why they wouldn’t Want to be open, but still kinda bummed me out that a truck I wanted to try wasn’t open :/ Other than that, It was a pretty cool atmosphere and the bands they had invited on were really good! Would definitely go again (maybe on a weekend when there’s more variety!)

The first beer we ordered was expired since November 2023! We are in April 2024. We took the beer back then they gave us these “new ones”, (funny enough they probably know that the whole batch was expired that’s why they have me a different brand). Anyway, this second one was ALSO expired. Now I know why they do $1 Wednesdays! Apparently they use these days to sell off their expired drinks. Watch out! I was too embarrassed for them to get a THIRD expired beer. We just left.
