i would have given it a higher rating, but given what i got and the serving size, i felt it quite expensive. i got what was supposed to be cambodian fresh noodle dish. it was fresh, and quite tasty. it was rice vermicelli noodles ( nicely simmered) with a little fresh chopped cucumber and cabbage leaves and some scallions. it had a lovely nice, simple asian vinegrette. there was a very small fried spring roll on top of the dish (it was just a little underdone inside). though the dish was quite yummy, it was a super simple dish, to have such a small portion, yet cost almost $10 after tax. i will go again because i am curious about some of the other dishes. but i won't be going on a regular basis due to cost. i was able to replicate the salad at home ( minus the tiny spring roll) quickly and easily ( my vinegrette wasn't exactly like theirs, but close enough and still tasty). i am thankful to have tried it because now it will be a regular at home. after i had ordered my dish, i did go ahead and buy these mochi that they had there. i had only ever had the ice cream frozen type mochi . i will stick with frozen ice...

I live in the DFW but I come down to visit family, this was my first time to eat here. The boba is really good and the food is bursting with flavor! I really enjoyed the egg rolls and the in house sauce they make for the egg rolls! You have to try the egg rolls literally because the sauce is that good. It’s a unique distinctive flavor that pairs with the rest of the food great! I also tried the teriyaki chicken and the sauce for the dish was so amazing again just bursting with flavors. Each bite complimented the fried rice which I chose as my side. I can not wait to go back!! Pretty sure I will continue to go get boba here everyday that I’m here. Conveniently close as everything is in Brownwood but this is really close because it’s right in the middle of town rather out by all the other food places. It’s a small family owned business and they work there everyday. They are very knowledgeable and knew exactly what to recommend as well were very professional and nice. Lovely place lovely atmosphere lovely food! Get down here and try it out today and help support your community family owned...

We are from out of town but had an errand In Brownwood so decided to try out Lemongrass for lunch. The service was great; friendly and welcoming. The building itself was pretty warm but they suggested we sit closer to the split air unit which helped. We all had 1/2 sweet tea which was very generous portion served in a large plastic container. Appetizers were the original egg roll (a little too oily) but overall fine and then a steak Philly cheese egg roll (very gooey texture) maybe just not a personal preference. Mains ordered; veggie stir fry (abundant fresh veggies) chicken pineapple (liked by the person that ordered), Lemongrass beef (thin steak was tender, heads up they use jalapeños???, the lemongrass stringy) and then a side from the Cambodian noodles average. This is more a of an Asian fusion then authentic. All the dishes were a bit oily.

I am use to mom and pop type of restaurants and love to support local businesses. However, his place does need a good cleaning. Tables were sticky and in general a bit neglected. This place is probably more suited to grabbing a dish to go. It was all...

(A+++++) absolutely and positively recommend!!!!!! I have zero negative comments on Lemongrass. Ok..just WOW! I LOVE THE FOOD HERE! I HAVE BEEN LIVING IN BROWNWOOD LESS THAN THREE MILES FROM THE RESTAURANT FOR TWO YEARS AND NEVER KNEW THIS PLACE WAS HERE!!! The boba tea, especially the Thai Tea, is magnificent and offered at an EXCELLENT price! The food is wonderful! Tasty and perfect! HUGE portions at a affordable price! Everyone who works there is very approachable, professional, and kind. They are knowledgeable about every dish and go above and beyond to help customers. Since the very first time I was blessed to eat here, I have come at least twice a week to get lunch and a boba tea. I absolutely love this place and the people who work here. 😁
