BOONDOX TAVERN — Restaurant in Brunswick

I went to Brunswick on a Friday to pick up something for my truck so I decided to find something to do while I was there. I liked up Karoke and saw some great reviews about this place. We went to check it out. We walked in this smokey place and the people looked at us like they had not seen a black person for 40 years. Then they immediately welcomed us and even bought us shots and a round of beers. They asked us to sing which of course we did. The people were so friendly, the drinks were so good and inexpensive, the bartenders were great and the DJ was more than awesome!!! I will definitely go back to that place 10 out 10 times. ...

My husband and I shared an amazing later and better half of this past New Year's celebrating here and wish we'd come here FIRST! This visit was apart of our much needed vacation and the atmosphere at the Boondox Tavern aka "The Blue Bar" was incredible--laid back atmosphere with good and interesting people, great entertainment all around, and the best decor all for that one in a million kind of feel. It'd be nice if every place had such friendly staff and patrons as this place does--thanks for keeping it real and down to earth, guys n gals. ...

‘Twas a sultry, humid evening when our group embarked upon this oasis. The libations where cool and refreshing as we where swooned by a local rendition of everyone’s favorite David Allen Coe tune. The more senior mixologist crafted my cocktails expeditiously with a warm smile that made us feel welcome.
